Gronk is back and with swagger

Gronk is easily the greatest TE of all time and in my opinion the most dominant non-QB player out there. Not only that, but he brings a toughness element of i'll run you over and i'll let you know about it. Today's game was contagious, we saw a group of players not backing down and running over the Bungles

It was fun to see, but gotta watch those unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.. I wouldn't want those calls happening in the playoffs.

The refs played a pretty big role by not holding the Bungles accountable until they declined to penalize Blount for retaliating.

That said, Gronk isn't Odell and Belichick isn't McAdoo. It got handled right there and Gronk won't make that mistake again any time soon.

Gronk was utterly unstoppable today - except for the plays when Belichik benched him after the personal fouls. Gronk is back.

I laughed out loud at him standing over Pacman Jones and **** talking him then getting into Burfict's face. There was a reason he was jawing at Burfict. You could see him say something to Bennett as Bennett came off the field after that filthy shot he took to his ankle away from the play by Burfict.

Should have thrown Barface out of the house.

Burfict: 6'1", 250. Gronk would throw him down faster than Michael Bennett.

Our coach understands it too and that's why he let gronk keep on playing. I still remember how mad he was when they blew up gronks knee. Those guys yesterday were intentionally trying to injure us,l.

The taunting penalty he got, given that particular situation, was worth it to me.

My personal favorite was his dancing after Blount scored in the middle of the group during the after-play pushing session.

And I figured the initial post-catch talking was a result of Bennett's tackle. Apology by Burfict or no, that dude is a head case and he very well could have taken Bennett out with his hit.

I don't have a problem with Gronk pushing back against the Bengals bs, I liked that Belichick chastised him for it and Gronk did his mea culpa after. All good--teammates having each others' backs, while showing they're not out of control idiots. 100% approve.

That's more or less my take. I don't think BB took him out of the play as penance for the penalty, but just to have him simmer down for a moment. The Bungles were clearly trying to cheap shot and taunt their way into helpful penalties and the Pats more or less played it right.

Blount was the beneficiary of a make up call, given that the Bungles had zero penalties for taunting or unnecessary roughness. At first, I actually thought he punched the guy, a la Blount classique, but it was just a "bite the finger" or "smell my finger" moment.

Honestly, I don't mind Patriots players giving a little lip service on the field. They back it up with their performance and frankly, I like the arrogance. You're better than every team you play so give it to them on the field. When the clock expires, then it's time to move on.

loved when he started bobbing his head towards the bungles bench. lol worth the 15 yard penalty!!

The Bengals fans say Gronk is lucky Burfict didn't smash Gronk for his totally classless dirty play because Burfict is from the streets! And he would MURDER Gronk!- in a totally not dirty and classy way cuz Burfict isn't dirty.

No contradictions there.

and, considering all that led to it that the refs didn't choose to control, it was a **** assed call

I agree completely.

CIN tried to intimidate and injure. You can't just let that permeate without responding.
