Jonathan Freeny with a 2 year extension.

I really wish that Belichick had called Caserio and told him to hold off after last night's game. Freeny was horrid.

He tackled more Pats players than he did Panther players. Plus he was out of position on the Stewart run (though Long might have been as well).

I know Freeny is good on special teams and he really stepped up last year when Collins and then Hightower were out, but man, he looked bad last night.

multiple that vodka by 3, but i ll never regret this. Freeney cmon. Tommorow i ll have the greatest hangover of all time but not because of alcholol but because i ll find out that someone extend Freeney.

Really? "F**k Belichick"? Because he extended a guy 2 years on what is likely very minimal money? Get a f**cking grip.

I'm not really sure what Freeney does well to warrant an extension. He struggles against the run, gets burned when he drops into coverage, and I don't recall him ever used effectively in a blitz. he's the definition of a JAG. Hopefully the contract reflects his JAGness.

You took my post. This is what Belichick does. Locks down the versatile, dependable non stars, so when inevitable injuries happen we adjust, not implode.

At the time, it was for a lot more money than what he was worth...Exceedingly overpaid at the time for what he brought. BB found that out soon enough....
