How the hell did Josh Brown only get 1 game for domestic violence?

so wait...the NFL says no one would co-operate with them. So, why even a 1 game game suspension then? If they had NO CONCRETE ATTESTED TO evidence, why a 1 game suspension? They making it all up as they go along?(rhetorical)

The answer: Of course they are. Mara TOLD Goodell what a good sanction would be and Goodell did what he was told...again. We are trapped in a continuous loop of overt deception as it pertains to the NY Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers franchises. Our enemy has been the Rooneys and the Maras all along.

The arrogance of thinking the police/victim should even cooperate.

If this was Tom Brady, is it safe to assume NE Patriots would have to pay a fine, lose draft picks and Brady would be suspended games 1-4 in the 2017-2018 season? Plus, it'd get a ton of media attention.

Please don't forget the Jets. The Richardson case is another head scratcher.

I can't even really understand it, to be honest. It doesn't make any sense. As a conspiracy to try to help the Giants it doesn't make sense because the risk is too great of this blowing up in the NFL's face so close to the Ray Rice fiasco. Not over a ****ing kicker.

And, being so close to the Ray Rice fiasco you'd think that they'd want to show that they're tough guys about domestic violence so why would they limit the suspension to only 1 game?

I mean none of this makes any goddamn sense to me.

It's quite simple. Fraudger does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Even when there is some sort of outcry, he is never held accountable, by anyone. Kraft and the rest will rush in to defend him and hug it out, no matter what he does. The fans will still show up at the stadium and turn on the TV no matter what he does. All he has to do is keep the right owners happy. Clearly Mara is one of the owners he services on a regular basis.

I just can't get behind this conspiracy theory aspect, at all. The math doesn't pan out for me. This isn't a QB this is a kicker for a team in a blue state.

Do you really thing Mara called Roger and was like "Yo, I know we just had a problem with Rice pulling a Mike Tyson's punch out on his wife but go easy on my kicker, ok?" and Roger being like "NO PROBLEM!"

Domestic abuse stuff makes the league look bad. I just can't wrap my head around any of this.

Roger Goodell rules arbitrarily. In other news, water still wet.

But it could be favoritism. The story behind Ray Rice was the relationship between Biscotti and Goodell and the fact that Biscotti wanted Rice to be around because he just based a huge marketing campaign around him as the new face of the franchise. Mara is clearly Goodells #1. Jets get under punished at every turn.

I'm torn between he just is a moron and he wants to help his friends.

@AndyJohnson - Looking at his track record, I don't think Roger G is an idiot, but I can agree the guy picks favorites when he sees fit. Though, that's not exclusive to the NFL and is seen in other promotions and careers (WWE is a great example of this).

I heard a rumor that Roger is seen going into his office everyday wearing a Tom Brady jersey and tissues in hand. The rumor goes as far as people hearing moaning coming from his office and him saying: "I beat you Brady!!!" Then five minutes later the guy "forgets" about another report on some other player's wrong doing.

No. Mara didn't have to call The Dope. Both Mara and The Dope know how it works. No phone trail, no paper trail. Just bidness, as Jerrah would say.

I read that as: "need to see video evidence."
Didn't Roethlisberger get six games with no evidence that he raped the woman? Granted, people destroyed the evidence for him, but you get my point.

Both are correct.

On April 21, 2010, the NFL's Commissioner Roger Goodell announced that Roethlisberger would be suspended without pay for the first six games of the 2010 season due to a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy. Roethlisberger was ordered to undergo a league-mandated "professional behavior evaluation" and "must adhere to any counseling or treatment that is recommended by the professional evaluators."[202] The suspension was subsequently reduced to four games.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Roethlisberger#cite_note-SuspensionCut-203[203]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Roethlisberger#cite_note-SuspensionCut-203

@Joker - Please clarify. Did you mean that as in me thinking he's not a moron or me thinking he may pick favorites from time to time?

There was plenty evidence. But, when you have former Pennsylvania State Police standing outside the bathroom stall in Milledgeville keeping people away while you force underage chicks who have been drinking to suck your d###, then life is good - if you're a lowlife, scumbag pedophile like Big Ben. But you get my point.

I have no doubt that there at one point was plenty of physical evidence ... but then the bar mysteriously taped over the surveillance video and wiped down the bathroom with bleach.

It's all purely coincidental!

Edit: my autocorrect changed "taped" to "raped." Android knows.

I just don't get it anymore...not that i ever did...but...wow
