Thought for "protest" for game 3.

I know from being a native New Englander and Masshole, we just looooove to hold a grudge...but at some point i think we just need to let this go and get ready for the season. Brady did it and it is time for us to move on.
Ill get over it when (if) the Pats win the superbowl this year

What would that do? All they care about is whether or not people are in there spending money - which you will be. You want to get his attention? Stop going to the games and spending your hard earned cash on the product.

Brady did nothing.

The way DeflateGate went down, the burden of proof became "It was more probable than not that Tom Brady was generally aware..."

With that line of reasoning, anyone can be accused, tried, convicted and sentenced for anything. Roger Goodell turned the NFL into North Korea.

The only protest that can matter would be winning SB LI and rubbing it in the face of everyone, starting with Goodell.

Nobody outside of Patriots Nation will pay attention to or care about anything that is done in the stands.

So, those of you with season tickets, get your money's worth and don't miss a play of the action. As Pats fans and defenders of Brady, we're already dismissed around the country as a bunch of blindly loyal homers. (I live in NYC. You can take my word for that.)

I was going to suggest "Turn in your season tickets," but there's a 100 year waiting list of people who would buy them in a minute.

So you disagree with pretty much any credible scientist that it didn't happen?

Protests don't matter when you're still paying the check.
Absolutely right, Deus.
As long as we fans buy Season Tickets, Patronize Stadium Concessions, use the Pro Shop (in person or online) and buy the beer, cars and pizza that's advertised during games on TV, the Owners rake in the cash.

Spot on.
(1) 2nd year since the 60s that I'm not going to games. 0 last year, a sad first. Admittedly I know I will waver as I will go see Brady play before retirement, but no more multiple games per year.
(2) Haven't bought any NFL products including SB DVD which I used to buy. Had daughter buy me a TB12 shirt instead. No NFL or Kraft revenue there.
(3) Called Comcast last year and told them to drop me down a tier so that I no longer had NFLN. The only thing I miss about NFLN is that I used to watch Jets pre-season games for a laugh.
(4) Skipping training camp again this summer but no NFL revenue impact.

look...i agree, Brady did nothing wrong and this whole thing is criminal. What i am saying is the NFL has won and there is nothing we can do about it. there is no way we can boycott the games because for it to be done, we need to have everyone in on it.

they are taking the ". Brady did it " as meaning as he ordered the deflation of the footballs, i took it to mean, he took the suspension instead of fighting it

Can you clarify that comment?

Okay I gotcha you.

Don't want to hurt only guy selling hot dogs or whatever.

Besides, who thinks any of this stuff is effective? Changing you FB picture so it blue white and red striped did nothing to help Paris, be it fight terrorism in the future or raise the dead. Still would not criticize anyone who does it. (edit: I just noticed I'm quoting only Deus. Sorry Dues, thought I quoted one of the "What will that do?" posts.)

One valid criticism I saw was some players might be pissed we care "only" about Brady. (Like article 46 doesn't apply to all players, but OK.)

Personally, I like the banner idea. Here's an option: Ideal gas law.jpg

Businesses respond to money, and businesses respond to politics. That's it. Until people start hitting the NFL in the wallet, or the NFLPA finally grows a set of balls, we'll be stuck with the likes of Goodell.

True, but no one was aiming to get Goodell fired (although that would be nice). The idea is to embarrass the NFL (and NFL network) by having empty seats for a quarter. Without stopping people from actually going to the game or not buying popcorn in the 3rd quarter or whatever.

But like I said, a banner is a better idea.

How does one embarrass the NFL? This is the league that had to cancel a game because of paint. This is a league that had its commissioner deliberately lying about its best player, in a quasi-judicial proceeding. This is a league that so blatantly panders for women viewers that it shoves pink down the throats of its players and customers for a month, but won't allow teams to acknowledge local issues with simple decals.

The NFL doesn't care. It's made that abundantly clear.

IMO any protest during a preseason games is uneventful, sorry. Who's watching besides Pats fans and the other team. No National TV.

I think the best, won't happen, is a regular season game on Thursday or Sunday night and the fans sit out the first quarter so the stadium is empty. That will be the talk of the of the sports announcers plus the blimp will be filming the parking lot with the fans. That's a message.

The best thing you can do is cut the cord and join in with streaming online.

Currently watching Colts v Bills in pre-season.

If you click you will see the quality right now out there on my 40" screen with the screen grab, and remember this is a ****ty pre season game and is by no means the best stream I have used.

I quit watching all the drivel years ago. I stream every game and then download them when they're posted later that night or the next morning to watch the crystal clear copy. I've been doing it for years and it's working for me. In fact, I'm downloading last night's game as I type this.

Yo yo yo. Hook me up please.
