Competent mental health professional should administer drug test to Florio asap.

If Patriots coach Bill Belichick didn’t have four pelts on the wall, he probably wouldn’t still be an NFL head coach.

He’d be a defensive coordinator, most likely. But not a head coach. He simply doesn’t have the temperament to survive as a head coach if he were anything another than one of the best head coaches in NFL history.

Belichick displays disgust with reporter’s question (again)

ask any NFL owner if they would like a HC who in his 16 years with the team has won four Super Bowls, lost 2 others on last second miracle catches, and is currently on a streak of six staright AFC Championship games?

Pleeeese Florio, if Kraft was dumb enough to let BB go, 31 other teams would be lined up to get him. Could you imagine how much Jerrah would pony up for BB?

If your dumb enough to ask a HC if he plans on starting his HOF QB once he is eligible again, then your lucky you only got a ************!

And if my aunt were a man she'd be my uncle. BB knows he is the best, so ha can punk reporters when they act the fool.

Florio thinks that Florio walks on water so he was personally offended.

Also, if you don't like the answer, ask a better question (helps by knowing your audience, in this case BB).

The media loves to generate controversy because it benefits them to have something to talk/write about which grabs peoples' attention. As such, they are desperate to create a QB controversy however they can because those are the best types of controversies (much like they tried the same thing following the 2014 KC game). They don't give 2 turds that such controversies and media distractions are usually poison for a team trying to win a championship.

Belichick is far too smart to fall into their self-serving traps. If that gets Florio's panties in a bunch, then f-him.

I think there are times when Belichick is unnecessarily curt with a reporter who is just doing his or her job. After a loss, for example, he can sometimes be rude. One should try not to be rude.

But the vast majority of the time it's simply Bill knowing how the game is played, and not giving the distractions and baloney any oxygen to grow. There's a lot of nonsense that gets thrown out, and he is smart to just shut it all down.

This was one of those times...you entertain these questions now, you're in for 5 weeks of "gee Bill, Jimmy played well, so what's the story now?" bull over and over again. He was smart to snort, look disdainful and say "************." Meaning, don't ask again. You've been warned.

The whole thing makes no sense especially the second sentence.

Heck, even Parcells said he would not do it, then he did. Before that happened, I don't think BB would remotely entertain Dallas, Washington, Cleveland. It's not about the money, but the power and environment.

I believe BB would win a ring in Dallas w a healthy Romp

The crucial thing is BB would have to insist he picks the assistant coaches...Parcells was not allowed to completely clean house when he came to Dallas. It would also have to be clear behavioral problems seldom if ever get appealed to the owner.

Yes, BB could have won a ring in Dallas, but why not win rings in NE?

I'm just saying, I think he's that good...

What part of 'if he didn't have four pelts on the wall' did you not understand? He's perfectly correct that Bill doesn't have the temperament to survive as a head coach absent the /fact/ that he's by far the BEST COACH IN THE LEAGUE. This isn't an insult, it's a compliment.

If if's and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a wonderful Christmas.

No. It's just plain stupid.

It is saying that the best coach in the league would be unfit to be a coach if he wasn't the best. Well the reason he is the best is because he is very well suited to be a coach. If he were not well suited to be a coach he could not be the best coach in the league, possibly in history. DUH.
