I want to know why Dobson can catch passes with 1 hand in practice but can't catch them with 2 in games.

Wow, I used to think somewhat highly of him when I used to watch Around the Horn. It's funny how we have to endure people predicting Brady's demise every off season, even though there has been no significant evidence of that to date. Meanwhile, Manning was in full-swing decline and you couldn't get anyone in the national media to acknowledge it. F*ck him just like the rest of the schmucks on that network.

Fair enough. But you know they're out there. And it wasnt necessarily directed at you. It's just that the "I'm not rooting for him" comment is what brought it to mind. IMO we should all be rooting for him to break out for reasons others have stated already.

I hear you loud and clear, Mosey. For what it's worth, if you were to review my post history, you'll see where I've defended him off season after off season. I'm just not falling for it this time. He must show and prove before I get back on his bandwagon, Patriot or no. And I'll tell you, friend, that the "I'm not rooting for him" statement has less to do with him specifically, per se, and more to do with the fact that I would hate to see him impress and take a roster spot from someone like Keyshawn Martin, who also has ST's value, and then pull the same stuff as the past two seasons. That would suck because it would hurt the team, and I find that more important than rooting for someone simply because he's wearing the flying elvis on his helmet. Ultimately, the team is more important than any individual player. But I do hear you and completely understand your viewpoint.

I'm kind of hoping we don't devote any more threads to the asinine things the fools in the national media are spouting. At this point, I really do believe most of it is just "click" bait being perpetuated by the powers that be at each of the networks. The things some of those characters are saying are just too asinine for me to believe that even they truly believe it . . . if that makes sense.

This thread is a godsend. I know it's mostly just puff pieces about guys looking good in shorts and t-shirts, but it's still great. I love the Garoppolo enthusiasm. Jimmy has great potential.

Fears isn't one to dole out praise about guys but he's been doing it in spurts lately. It's early yet, but this bodes well IMO.

Get an HD antenna and put it up on the side of your house. I stopped paying for cable years ago and still get to watch every Pats game for free. Actually has better picture quality than my cable did as well. Mine was less than $40.

All I can say is, no matter how bad he declines, Tom Brady will NEVER be "a bum". Which is a hell of a lot more than you can say for the vast majority of other players in this league. Not to mention the owners.

Did this guy call Manning "a bum" when he was obviously at the end. No, he was too busy lathering himself up wearing a Broncos thong every Sunday I'm sure.

I've been in it pretty much all day. Very little studying got done today, unfortunately. I'm hoping that subsides by next week, but I'm not counting on it. I've been waiting for TC for forever now. I'm so hype.
