Long snapper Christian Yount was released by the Patriots which pretty much confirms that Joe Cardona will be the Patriots 2016 long snapper.

UDFA C.J. Johnson was waived. As of now, his 2016 dead money is 5K. If unclaimed it will increase to 10K as $5,000 of his 2016 salary was fully guaranteed. If unclaimed, the Pats will have $10K in dead money for the 2017 season.

Damn miguel, you're on top of everything, eh?

That means we have 3 open roster spots since Ebner is in the Olympics. Who will we add?

The Pats have 3 open spots with Ebner. Ebner is still officially on the active roster.

Yep. No need to change his status until they need to.

Miguel reading Twitter and outside of the Pats facility when these transactions go down...

C.J. Johnson went unclaimed.

It's interesting that Johnson was released prior to TC. Wonder what happened.. I know he was a long shot for the roster, but many thought he'd be someone we'd see on the Practice Squad

d%#*!@t Belichick! Thats 5-10k we will NEVER get back!!unum!

Oh well! From the highlights, I thought CJ Johnson had a better chance making the practice squad than Elandon Robertson. Wrong again! Onto the next binky Kamu Grugier-Hill.

Bob probably had him cut cause his name is 'Christian' and the NFL owners want to turn the NFL into a league full of Mexican Muslim immigrants on welfare. I wish we had a real owner. ;_;
