Ezekiel Elliot busted for Domestic Violence

So it doesn't matter if he didn't do this, right? Just by having this headline he is embarrassing the Shield. He should be suspended just for being involved in something like this. And according to CA2, Scum**** Goodell can suspend him for this.

I don't have a hard time believing that at all. Elliot didn't have many character concerns popping off the page coming out of college and, as I said, he was just photographed by some gold digger sleeping in a bed after they hooked up. I highly doubt that he had a serious girlfriend. I'm very sympathetic to this because I have an old friend from high school that still lives in South Florida. He got in deep with this psychopath who cheated on him left, right, and sideways and he had a kid with her. Anyway, they were trying to make it work and one night, they got into a really bad fight. She locked herself in the bathroom and punched herself in the face multiple times before calling the police to report that he hit her. They arrested him, booked him, and charged him. When he got out, he recorded a phone conversation with her where she was crying on the phone, apologizing for doing that, and saying that she would do anything to get back together.

Like I said in the other post, some chicks are crazy.

I have a very similar story of a friend of mine who started a company and was making good money at like 22 years old.. obviously gaining the attention of a lot of girls in the process. He started dating one crazy physco and I was living with them at the time.. We were playing some computer games and she got in a fight with him, locked herself in the bedroom and called the police claiming he was beating her and "broke her wrist"

We were literally sitting in a computer chair playing video games the entire time.. she made all of it up, but he didn't get arrested fortunately since there were 2 witnesses including myself.

He had a run in with a similar girl he dated later on.. he was down on a vacation in florida with her and she said she wanted him to buy her a new car and some other crap.. and that if he didnt and tried to leave her, she would tell the cops that he raped and beat her

the saying "B****es be crazy!" is a saying for a reason... there are some certified LUNATIC woman out there that know the system and know they can use it as a weapon against men.. and its frightening.

Exactly. I see nobody suggesting that all women are crazy and all men are innocent or vice versa. The C.O.C. does not need to ruin this thread. This is also a primo reason why Goodell and the NFL need to stay out of situations like these and let the law handle them.

Knowing the average NFL career is less than 4 years and most guys don't make it past their rookie deal (especially bell cow running backs), I would advise Zeke Elliott and his RB brothers to just keep your nose clean for the first 3 years in the league. You want to hang out with crazy chicks, wait until after that first big contract and you have developed some good-will in the league.

Right now, he looks like a rookie RB who comes from the same jailhouse pedigree that Urban Meyer has built a career on.

Domestic violence is HARDY the answer!

There still remains very little clarity on this situation. He claims he has text messages proving she is out to get him but we don't know what those texts say. If they say something like "give me $250,000 or I'll tell the media you abused me" then that would be extortion BUT that doesn't mean what she says is not true.

Right now there really isn't any evidence on either side. She showed pictures of bruises, but who knows how she got those. He says he has witnesses but we have no idea who those witnesses are or what they say.

Having said that, I still would love nothing more than for Cowboys fans to get a good dose of what the corrupt commissioner gave us. Those people are the biggest bunch of whiny crybabies you will ever see.

In case anyone is wondering why I hate Cowboys fans so much....

When stuff like this happens, I like to go to opposing teams' forums. An unofficial team forum is great site to get ALL the news, rumors, theories, everything. So I go to a Cowboys forum, the place where Greg Hardy is an innocent man, but Tom Brady is proven guilty, and I read gems like these:

"knowing the NFL the way I do, since Zeke's a cowboy and a potential star, the NFL will quickly move to ban him for a season or life without one ounce of evidence.....if he were a Patriot or Giant nothing would happen with positive video evidence."

My response to that:

These people still cling desperately to the notion that their team is relevant. I don't have a problem with that, per se, but they apparently feel they have to tear down true champions.

He should get 10 games. Why does a clean record, up standing citizen like Brady get railroaded and losers like this guy and crowell get off the hook? However, that's assuming he's guilty of this.

This must be www.CowboysZone.com, where I got banned for imploring them to stop going to the games until they get owners that run them like the Pats now or pre-Jerrah. The site that has a member that had one of our PatsFans members traveling to Dallas concerned for his safety last Oct 11 - seriously. I get being a fan, but these guys are full ****** with or without doing a substance.

This seems very out of character from what we know about Elliot, but then again accusations of abuse seemed out of character for Ray Rice too. Bottom line, we don't know what happened. Best to wait for the facts to come out before forming opinions.
