Colts’ Arthur Jones suspended four games for PEDs

I hope Goodell goes on a mission to prove he's not unfair to the Pats and goes on a Stalin-like purge and suspends like 50-60 players
I'd like that too, but I don't see this as an example of that.

The thing I like about the NFL's drug policy is that it is cut and dry. There is a very clear, specific table of offenses and punishments. There's no room to mess things up, as Goodell has done with just about every other circumstance where good judgement was needed.

that's fine......in that case, I'll take simple player stupidity

it's the colts so this is good news

Those Jones boys are trouble.

They do all seem to have some questionable decision making. That said, if I'm Jones, getting older and facing the stark reality of being out of the league if my play drops off, I think I take whatever is needed and trade the 4 game checks for a possible new contract or extension that could very well come with a "rejuvenation."

Its kind of funny, WHen chandler came out didn't they say that he came from a really good family and his brother was a freak. now 2 of his brothers have been busted for drugs. Thats not to say he comes from a bad family, but if memory serves me correctly they really made it seem like off the field stuff wouldn't be a problem with chandler. Yet to test psotive for PED's but we all know what happened this past winter

The punishment for equipment violations is also cut and dried, with a clear and specific. That did not stop Roger.

I don't think Arthur has done **** on the field since 2012-13

The brothers came out well in many respects.

But they do have issues with medication ...

The Jones Brothers love their drugs, don't they? I wonder if Irsay was getting in on that action.

Growing up near Binghamton, NY will drive you to drugs.................

The Jones boys love the "good aspirin."

Jon has something to say to anyone who mocks any of the Jones brothers for their drug use:

Another great free agent signing by Ryan Grigson. Grigson seriously overpaid to get Jones and Jones has done nothing due to underperformance, injuries, and now suspensions. He has helped the Colts less than Trent Richardson did.

Cheaters. *8-8

Will the Clots be hoisting a PED VIOLATORS preseason competition banner?
