Hernandez Letter to Pen Pal

If misunderstood why you want to hear more from Hernandez my B but I thought you pretty much summed up your opinion with this line "Especially if he continues to criticize that corrupt traitor Benedict Bob."

And if you don't like the term apologize. Your still siding with a someone who committed murder instead of someone whose biggest fault is he hugs Goodell and he didn't appeal.

Why do I want to hear more from Hernandez? I wrote why. You know I did. It's there to see.

What you're doing is exactly what Roger Goodell did to Tom Brady. What BSPN/NYJFL Network/other media did to make sure everything that supported Tom Brady got piled under. After all they did, you're going to do the exact same thing, now? What the hell is wrong with you man.

Woah I don't even know what your accusing me of? But I don't like being lumped in with Goodell.

Again if I'm not making my point succinctly I apologize. Just crazy that your interested to hear more of Hernandez but hate Kraft.

I want nothing to do with that murderer and am embarrassed to have ever rooted for him. Krafts biggest mistakes are hugging Roger and not appealing and that's something you seem less forgiving of seems nuts. Not sure how this take makes me anything like Goodell and I find it quite insulting for you to call me that.

I didn't understand why more Hernandez articles were being linked/posted when he already has life in prison. It really did nothing in posting that news. However the letter gives insight into possibly bringing understanding into what lead him down this path. Perhaps then we can help prevent it before it starts. Piling on Kraft as well is just gravy.

As for Kraft, he's part of the 32. Don't matter if he knows or not. He's part of the 32. And in my opinion the moto of the 32 and NYJFL* is "money before morality if nobody finds out". And even then it's pretending to be moral but still prioritizing money before morality. That's immoral and corrupt. Whether you like it or not, he is a part of this. His hands are just as dirty as the other 31. They don't care about domestic abuse, or sexual assault, or child abuse. They only care about it if it becomes public knowledge. They didn't make these headsup football program just because they care. They made it because these concussions are an attack on their business model. Without headsup football program, less parents will let their kids play football. Less popularity, less money. They don't care about breast cancer, they care about tapping into the female demographic to increase profits. Money before morality.

I was really disappointed with Kraft supporting Roger Goodell on Ray Rice coverup. I should have called him out right there and then. I didn't. Framegate just tipped it over for me. It opened up my ignorant eyes on what the NYJFL* and the 32 was really all about. So no, I can't and will never forgive Kraft. I hate him just as much as the other 31, Goodell and the NYJFL*.

I do wonder how much more has been covered up by the NYJFL* in the past before the internet and social media.. I think a former GM alluded to that once, but either he bactracked his story or the NYJFL* denied it.

Hi Pats Family. Pardon me if this was posted, as it is dated 2/1 and the original letter was sent in December 2015. I did a search and did not see this anywhere. But if it has been posted, mods please merge.

Angry at his pen pal:

About the Pats:

I know there is a lot of disdain on the board for him (and rightfully so), but I thought it was an interesting read, nonetheless.

No disdain here. I don't hate people, only their actions, but everyone has a chance at redemption, IMO.

I read this a long time ago. Everyone made a biggie out of the cinderblock comment. I'm guilty of telling someone to jump off a cliff, it doesn't mean that I actually meant it or that I'm a murderer, but I digress.

I believe he trashed Robert Kraft and his fake loyalty in the same letter (that was the most interesting bit for me). He was and still remains adamant about his being innocent of the crime he was charged with. I'm somewhere in the middle with Hernandez, because I can't see anything proving he did it or anything proving he didn't do it. IF he really is innocent, I'm sure he knows who did it, but thugs don't snitch. Stupid, yes, but he was born in bred in the streets and recruited by the posse, I expect no less from him.

It actually was not as big of a shock to me because I was living in Gainesville at the same time he attended UF (I finished two years prior) and stories of his antics abound. People still talk about him to this day. Everybody knew Meyer was covering sh*t up. EVERYONE! My only run in with him was at a club. He literally sat up on the bar and yelled out for any girl who was so inclined to come over and suck his hot dog right there. Of course nobody did at the bar, but I'm pretty sure he went home with a few. He was hot sh*t and the girls loved the dude. He got special treatment by everyone (as did all the ball players at that time) and he took advantage of every ounce of it.

It wasn't a shock to me either. I only needed to know his background to see he had it rough. It ain't easy for guys like him to escape that kind of life, so they strive within it. I just don't believe he killed Lloyd, because as far as I know from the case, he had no reason to, but I don't know everything, so he may have had a reason.

If the stories of his antics are true, then I'm sure nothing changed for him in New England. During the investigation, they brought up all sorts of police reports and incidents regarding Hernandez, since he's been a Patriot. The way these teams keep tabs on their players, especially the troubled ones, there is no way no-one can convince me that Kraft and/or Belichick weren't aware of it and didn't cover for him, in some cases, like the Steelers did for their rapist QB and the Falcons did for their dog fighting thug QB, or like the Ravens did for that girl beating scrub at RB. As long as these deviants can still produce and add on to the team's success, the teams will do any and everything to protect them-- including the Patriots, who were probably no more surprised than I was, when the story broke. I would assume the Patriots run background checks on their employees. They knew. I found it shady that Hernandez would call the coaches over, that lived next door to him, before he called a lawyer. Clean up crew, maybe? It probably wasn't the first time.

I love my team, but I ain't about to play blind in some attempt to paint them as saints. When there's green and success involved, everybody becomes corrupt. The whole entertainment industry is corrupt. Who would be surprised about NFL and their teams being corrupt?

Wake up, people!

I find it amazing how he learned the playbook so effortlessly yet lead a double life off the field. It seems that more than 90% of the WRs/TES that get invited to the Pats never learn the playbook. You would think with the insane nightlife Hernandez lived, he would have ended up as one of the worst NFL players ever like Manziel.

He did have a mastery of things for sure. I watched the Denver 2011 divisional game and he literally played every "skill" position. He was SO versatile. He never even showed that much versatility at UF. He would have been so great, as he was still trending upward. Money and talent don't replace or afford a person good sense or maturity. I'm learning that more and more in this life. Sad. Smh
