ESPN's Dan Graziano reports Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell is facing 4 game ban

Didnt dwill say he is glad patriots have problems so i guess were glad too

Four games for "missing," i.e., not "failing," a drug test. The key thing, clearly, is to determine whether he was "generally aware" that he had missed the test. That should be worth another five mil to Ted Wells.

On a serious note, the more stuff like this happens the more likely the NFLPA will have the guts to go on a long strike.

I really want you to be right on that one. But, until the majority of players are each subjected to draconian discipline, I don't think they'll be close to a strike. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope you're wrong, but I sure can't say that you are.

How's Jerry going to wiggle his way out of this one? (Ezekiel Elliott's exgirlfriend posting domestic violence picture's claiming he did it).

Deflategate was the ace on the sleeve for the NFL, now with all these suspensions coming until the next CBA, when they sit on the table to discuss the next CBA there will be no way NFLPA will accept article 46. The TV ratings will probably keep increasing and the NFL will have the argument that they are doing it right. IMO they created this situation to trade for something, in order to give up unlimited powers to the commissioner they will ask something big like 18 regular season games.

Practically, you have to give the same punishment for missing a drug test as you would for failing it otherwise there is no point in having a drug policy, anyone who will fail would just miss the test.
To be suspended for 4 games he has to have tested positive before, twice I think (but im not up on the system) so its not a big jump to think he missed because he was going to fail.

nothing a few million of jerry's oil money wont fix.

Should be an 8 game ban, isn't he a repeat offender?

I like it when they have problems.

I'm not sure continually negotiating in bad faith will work too well.

As his teammate so eloquently put it in regard to the Pats and Tom's suspension, and I'm just paraphrasing, I don't care about the Steelers problems. We all got 'em. I won't shed a tear if he gets banned for the season. Ban the whole team for all I f-ing care.

Yea didn't he get nailed for toking it up with Blount?

With the change in the street drug policy, I'm not sure how many positives it takes now, but I don't believe a second one is even all that serious anymore. I think it's only 4 games.

So no Brady, no Watt, no Bell. I'm sure there are others I'm missing too but that right there is the 3 players each the best at their positions who won't be on the field to start the season.

So the first five games this year might be even worse than last year's. Can't wait.

So apparently, it appears the league is going to take the best player from each team

great marketing strategy

Arthur Jones too
