But, until the majority of players are each subjected to draconian discipline, I don't think they'll be close to a strike. I hope I'm wrong.Four games for "missing," i.e., not "failing," a drug test. The key thing, clearly, is to determine whether he was "generally aware" that he had missed the test. That should be worth another five mil to Ted Wells.
On a serious note, the more stuff like this happens the more likely the NFLPA will have the guts to go on a long strike.

Practically, you have to give the same punishment for missing a drug test as you would for failing it otherwise there is no point in having a drug policy, anyone who will fail would just miss the test.Four games for "missing," i.e., not "failing," a drug test. How's Jerry going to wiggle his way out of this one? (Ezekiel Elliott's exgirlfriend posting domestic violence picture's claiming he did it).
Should be an 8 game ban, isn't he a repeat offender?

Deflategate was the ace on the sleeve for the NFL, now with all these suspensions coming until the next CBA, when they sit on the table to discuss the next CBA there will be no way NFLPA will accept article 46. The TV ratings will probably keep increasing and the NFL will have the argument that they are doing it right. IMO they created this situation to trade for something, in order to give up unlimited powers to the commissioner they will ask something big like 18 regular season games.
Yea didn't he get nailed for toking it up with Blount?
So no Brady, no Watt, no Bell. I'm sure there are others I'm missing too but that right there is the 3 players each the best at their positions who won't be on the field to start the season.
