Aaron Rodgers overrated?

Hmmmmm.

In a winner take all game I think I'd go with Wilson but I'd need to flip a coin 19 times.

it's for the same reason why everyone here would take Brady over anyone else. Wilson is more clutch than Rodgers. Rodgers is 7-6 in the playoffs. Wilson led his team to back to back super bowl berths, including one dominating win over the broncos. Besides, Rodgers always seems to get injured.

I think with another two good years Eli is a 1st ballot HoFer (not that I agree with it) as he'll be over 50k yds, 350 Tds and 2 SBs.

Playing for the Giants and being a Manning also will help his cause.

Eli will get in for one reason only - the team he beat in the super bowl. His stats are solid too. I expect Eli to have a great season this year with beckham, shepard, and cruz.

Rodgers does seem to be getting a little more dinged up lately. Hes not a big guy. Thought I read that Olivia Munn put him on this yoga stretching protocol and the same non dairy diet that TB12 is on

Cruz healthy? Thought I had read his knee was still troublesome?

Why did you have to make so much sense? That means my days as a football fan might be numbered? d%#*!@t.

As much as I'm tempted to, I just won't bite on this one. You are insane if you really believe it.

Aw, c'mon. There's only a few days left of offseason before we have to start commenting on real football activities.

Brady
Rodgers
Brees
Wilson
Newton

I think Brees is tremendously underrated.

I'm surprised at the lack of attention that goes to Russell Wilson whenever these QB discussions come up.

46-18 regular season record, 7-3 playoffs
64.7% complete with 106 TDs and 34 INTs in regular season
60.5% with 16 TDs and 9 INTs in the playoffs.
13,974 yards regular, 2,328 playoffs
I SB win and 1 NFC title in 4 years with no one and dones.

^^^Potential Hall-Of-Famer if he wins another Super Bowl

Before I can whether he's "overrated," I have to get a sense of how people think he is "rated."

Should he be mentioned in the same breath as Brady, Montana, P. Manning, Johnny U. and maybe one or two others over time that we could have an endless argument about? No.

But does he belong in whatever tier is right below that group? Yeah, sure. Add a couple of more Conference Championships and another ring and I'd gladly move him into the top tier. For now, I'd put him in the same group with Wilson, Brees and maybe one or two other active QB's.

Luck and Flacco, I'd put in a group below that second group.

I completely agree. I have Wilson third behind only Newton and Brady among active QBs. Wilson, Newton and Luck are the clear next generation QB leaders. I also like Tannehill. Brock Osweiler will be an interesting guy to watch.

The 2012 Draft may go down as one of the greatest ever for NFL QBs - Luck, Wilson, Tannehill, Kirk Cousins, Robert Griffin III, Osweiler, Brandon Weedon, Nick Foles.

Right now, I'd take Wilson, Luck and Tannehill in that order as my QB if I had to start a team from the 2012 group. But the others have a shot at jumping into the top three in 2016.

There's a changing of the guard under way with Brees, Romo and Eli Manning at the end of the road, Manning gone, and Brady defying gravity but clearly in his final couple of laps.

Why focus on one game? Particularly an away game in one of the most difficult places to play in NFL history and against a historically great defense? Overall, Rodgers's postseason stats compare favorably to Brady's. We all know Brady has had some spectacular playoff failures, and those came at home, against lesser teams than SEA. Looking at the whole body of work, these are undoubtedly the two best of their era. Rodgers, not Manning, is Brady's only real competition. And if I need one drive, I still give he edge to Brady.

because a claim was made that the defense cost them the game we are focusing on.

I don't under stand what you see in Ryan tannehill he is a EX WR.

He makes bad decisions with the ball and is not a precise thrower of the football.

I have no fear of him as QB playing against the pats the reason he is not very good.
