This is something I randomly thought about.

He is 7-6 in the playoffs

Many QBs have better records in the playoffs Wilson is 7-3

Flacco 10-5

since 2010 Rogers is 2-4 in the playoffs 63.9 percent of his passes with six touchdowns and two interceptions for a passer rating of 91.6.

The packers have had some very good teams in 2014 and 2011 and they have had a full list of Weapons.

Listen the man is a very good QB elite status.

He can throw on the run and throws a deep ball that is beautiful to see but his not the best QB in the NFL and it makes no sense to me why people say it.

A lot of the praise he gets is how nice it is to watch him work not taking away from how good he really is.

Call me Crazy I feel like guys like Big Ben does not get enough respect.

Also another argument Brett farve played in multiple NFC champions and two super bowls and won a Ring and has 13 playoffs wins.

So i still feel Brett is the Greats QB besides Bart Starr to play for the Packers until Rogers does more.

I think Rogers may win another ring but I think the Packers will keep falling short.

Again this was just on my mind you guys give me your opinion.

No. I've never seen a QB that can drop a dime from 40 yards while on the move laterally or otherwise like he can. He'll never be better than TB in my opinion, but he's far from overrated. He is better than Gomer in my book already. Playing in GB is no joke and he does it well.

Just my .02

Gomer?

I think he's very, very good. With that said, I agree that he is somewhat overrated by some. I've seen/heard him mentioned in some GOAT conversations. Just my opinion, but I don't think he warrants that.

Yes! He is indeed over-rated!
Doesn't mean he isn't great but by definition of over-rated, many anointed him the BEST QB in the NFL a few years back with a good body of work but not worthy of the Best IMO. There are a lot of excuses for AR including team injuries, his own injuries and that he plays often in very cold, inclimate weather etc... Sound familiar?!

All I know is he's in his Prime and having a **** season (yes, crap) like he did last season in his prime is not greatness or a positive sign for the future. The best QB in the league would have elevated his team through some of those injuries (Jordy Nelson) but it became completely acceptable that AR would not be the same without him on the field - what!?

Those prime years are precious to a QB and he blew one up badly. No mystery why he's now interested in following Brady's diet and workout regiment.

The Packers defenses, or lack thereof, have been their downfall in the playoffs since 2010. Rodgers, for instance, didn't lose that game against the Seahawks in the '14 NFCCG. You're right that he will never be Brady, but he's a very solid #2.

Were do you rate Ben?

If brady retired, A-Rodg would be my first choice replacement. He's definitely the most physically blessed QB in the league, maybe ever. Some of the throws he makes, I don't think brady could. But of course, brady doesn't put himself in those situations and there's much more to QB-ing than just throwing the ball.

Bottom line, he's not overrated. **** happens in playoffs.

As of right now, he'd top the second tier of my rankings at #3. It would be between him and Cam for the third spot, but I didn't like the way Cam turtled and sulked in the Super Bowl when the going got tough. Lord knows he's talented, but he still needs to grow up a little.

There was a stretch where TB was mediocre in the playoffs but I chalked that up to fielding below average defenses and injuries . From 2009-2013 they were flawed and snake-bit.

Rodgers is an elite QB. Quite frankly I think the Packers are doing a substandard job with personnel.

They got hot in 2010 for sure but that defense was excellent.

Okay, let's not venture into ridiculousness. If you take any statistic and put all the focus on it, sure you can try to paint the picture that a player may be overrated or underrated or whatever the argument might be. This is not one of them. This is a team game and Rodgers has had to carry some mediocre defenses on his back. And in reality, he should have beaten SEA two years ago (we remember that fiasco) and AZ last season (again, the D failed to step up in the crucial moments). As I've been on record saying many times, he's the only QB I'd take over Brady . . . and that's only if I HAD to take someone over Brady. This is a stark contrast to someone like Manning, who has been thee reason his teams have lost in the playoffs/SB many times.

With that said, Newton is the one being overrated to me right now. He has one really good season and he's on everyone's list as the number one best QB or player in the league. F that.

Overrated but still better than Favre on the Packers all time list, and still a top 2 or 3 QB.

Brady started out 10-0 in the playoffs. He is 12-9 since. According to your theory on Rodgers, Brady was a much better quarterback from 2001-2004 than he has been since that time.

You might consider that the other 52 guys have something to do with team records. And you might also consider that Mike McCarthy is a long, long, long way from Bill Belichick.

Great athlete and thrower of the ball but I think he is tadbit overrated as a QB.

Just look at the game he had in Denver and then look at the two games Brady had in Denver this season, ya they were all losses but let's make one thing clear everything went wrong for Rodgers in Denver and he packed it in. Pats losing those games wasn't on Brady

-**** reffing in the regular season game + Harper's muff
- Missed XP and Belichick deciding not to kick a FG

Stuff that was completely out of Brady's control. He did his best and ya bad read on the 2pt but really he shouldn't have even been in that situation if it wasn't for the missed XP and not kicking a FG

Yep. Thats why fans really need to take a long, hard look at the matchups, injuries and the overall quality of the team being fielded before judging how good a QB is in the playoffs.

Fans sometimes forget that winning a Super Bowl is really, really, hard.
