Rumor (speculation): Fitzpatrick to sign with Patriots?

When he rents a home in Foxboro, let me know. Until then . . . yawn. ;)

Well if he signs with a team other than NE it still weakens jests. If he signs here it's gravy.

You do realize it's only Pat fans who believe in some big conspiracy right?

and you DO realize that it's only people who hate the patriots that refuse to acknowledge that the ideal gas law is a real thing, and that the IGL explains the pressure in the footballs from the AFCCG, and that brady did nothing wrong.

It's pretty plain to see that the league has it out for the patriots with this most recent turn of events.

the fact that the jets had the most blatent case of tampering in known history, publicly saying they intended to offer a huge contract to a player DURING a press conference, while that player was under contract with another team, and were not penalized, whilst at the same time another team was alleged to have tamped and lost draft picks.

Jets players routinely avoid penalties despite crimes they commit, and the fact that sheldon richardson got a single game suspension for the litany of laws he broke last year is hilarious.

Pretty sure it was Sheldon Richardson who had the lead foot, loaded weapon, car reeking like weed, and 12 yr old kid in the backseat--but your point obviously stands.

While I have no idea as to how far Belichick has pushed the line (most of the great coaches do, see Parcells and Walsh), I do know that both Spygate and Deflategate were terribly overblown. That said, the NFL needed a villian in the same vein as the WWE, so here we are.

Ryan Fitzpatrick's NJ home is now up for rent. No longer responding to brandon marshall's texts. He's done with the jets lol.

Ryan Fitzpatrick’s New Jersey home is reportedly up for rent
While it would be great to weaken a divisional foe who won 10 games and set the NYJ single season record for TDs thrown last year, I still wonder if some of this is posturing?

I'm fully expecting them to up their offer just in time for TC (or a week or two into it), as they probably should. Seems that they'd like to have him for another season and wish to groom someone else (Hackenberg, Petty, Smith) for the future. The problem is that they also don't wish to come up on their 12m dollar offer for this season. If they did, I'd have to assume that Fitzpatrick would be alright playing on a one year deal.

I've taken some day quill.

He won't sign with the jesters (well who would want to?) for over $12M and pats are going to pay him with exactly what cap space?
The cap space of righteousness!

Just joking, of course. They're not going to sign him. But, oh good Lord would it be fun if they did!!!!!!!!!

Richardson/Wilkerson, easy mistake. :)

At least now we have Harrison out of the way, which makes one less "son" to remember.

It seems everytime an analyst starts to mention he went to Harvard he throws into triple coverage
