Thanks, TommyBrady.

On the flip side, I don't need some website, especially one that I do not visit anymore, to tell me what I've known since about the end of the 2003 season. I will admit that I didn't realize his greatness yet prior to that. When we made it 3 out of 4, I started to really see what we had on our hands. I'm sitting in the library now with my TB12 hat on. It's funny the looks I'm getting these days when I wear any of my Pats gear. But few dare to say anything to me. I LOVE IT!!!

cam ahead of tom is so absurd!! just makes me laugh..

cool list though.

Willie Mac picking Newton over TB12...tsk, tsk.
He just took a little hit in my book. I don't like it much at all. I'll always love Will Mac, but this is a red mark for me. LOL I'm thinking maybe he just doesn't want to sound like a homer or go with the convenient choice. At least that's what I'll tell myself.

Rob, I just noticed your sig. That was classic. I was sitting at home wondering why BB was letting the seconds tick away. That answered my question. It's funny because you can read his lips on the sideline in the "Do Your Job" documentary where he says something like, 'I got it.' That's why he's the best and why its exasperating at times that everyone wants to reduce every ounce of success the Patriots have had to cheating. Ah well, the show goes on and I think they have a really good shot to bring home another Lombardi this season, even with TB12 missing the first four.

Willie is way past the pro-Patriot stigma. He could have easily used the "He hasn't won anything" argument to support his ranking of TB12.

Brady is a better QB than Newton. Period.

I agree 100000000 percent that TB12 is Buzz Lightyears better than Newton. That's why I was somewhat disgusted by the Top 100 list, even though I don't give those lists that much credence. I had a nice rant in that thread. LOL I was just trying to find some rationale in it. But you're right, man. He could have easily done what you indicated.

As a passer TB12 blows him out of the water no question. I think Willie was looking at the whole package which includes the 600 or so yards and 10 TDs rushing and going 15-1 and to the SB does demand some props.

Simply put, he caved in.

One season does not a great player make, Willie. If Cam can put together a few more seasons like last season, then I'll be a believer. Until then, I am a skeptic. I don't care what the numbers from last season looked like. Athleticism alone does not necessarily make one player an overall better player, especially when all of the other measurables fall short.

I'm one of those old cranky guys that what a player does in big moments determines how valuable and great they are. For a QB, its even more important.

1. Brady

2. Rodgers

3. Newton

I like it, sir. Although I have said many times that, in a pinch, Rodgers is the ONLY QB I'd take over Brady . . . even though he had a bit of an off year last season (which could easily be explained away with what that team endured at the WR position).

I like that the NFL headline video to that article is basically just Tomlinson going on about how great Rodgers is and how he should have been the winner.

That season of WR woes is going to make Green Bay even tougher this year. My boss is a huge fan so we have had many discussions - mainly how well the lowest ranks did . Besides the Pats, I am looking forward to seeing them play this year.

They should have beaten AZ last season and SEA the year before.
