Integrity alert thread

Un-****ing real. So why wasn't Rodgers investigated for doing it the same season?

Krafty Bob's good buddy

The fact that this will get no traction is all you need to know about how no one outside of NE cares.
This should be used in court.

It isn't a big secret that other people have admitted to "playing" with children outside of the mandated age requirements, but the simple fact remains that Mr. Goodell is the only person I've investigated for this violation. Therefore, he is the only person I will speak about when it comes to this issue.

Not sure this is real.

Integrity alert: meanwhile, the St. Louis Cardinals' former scouting director was just sentenced to four years in federal prison due to the organization's criminal actions in trying to spy an opponent. Yet somehow, the same people who fixate on the Patriots' lack of integrity for a bunch of imagined slights that were never proven (and in many cases were actually disproven) won't ever question that organization.

Goodell has been a reliable and effective Consigliere for the NFL Crime Syndicate for many years now. He's simply helping 31 of the other NFL "Families" reign in the 32nd "Family" which they believe is growing too big and syphoning off territory and profits from them.

This is the part that baffles me the most about the media. I know Tom Brady is 100% innocent so I hate to play the "if he did it" game, but I'll do it here anyway to prove a point:

If Brady did it, it is the most minor and inconsequential of offenses, deserving of an $8,000 fine (and certainly nothing that would involve the authorities). However, in MLB, you have a guy that admitted he violated federal law to the tune of a 4 year jail sentence. And just look at the disproportionate media coverage in those 2 events!!:mad::mad:

Article 46. He's really trolling us now and giving us the middle finger with every "sentence".

I've seen this on Twitter and Reddit, but I have only seen this quote. Can someone reference the whole interview? I just feel this may not be real or a misquote, if it was legit it would have gained some traction.

You could tell me a Pats fan made up this quote to make him look bad, or you could tell me Goodell actually said this and knows he can say it with impunity. Either way, I'd believe it.

Brady's decision to not continue in court along with the NFLPA continuing the fight can set up an interesting scenario further down the road.........any court rendering that finds any fault with Goodell's handling of Deflategate can swing wide open a door for Brady's defamation lawsuit which has the potential for punitive damages that will make what Goodell handed Brady and the Pats seem like chump change.

The fact that Goodell may have gotten his way as commissioner does not absolve him from the potentials of a civil proceeding against him.

NEW YORK—In response to accusations that his policies are hurting the game of football, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told CBS’s Face the Nation Sunday that he would have no problem letting his own son ruin the sport. “If my son wanted to make a series of catastrophic rule changes that destroy everything people enjoy about football, there’s no question: Yes, I would let him do that,” said Goodell, who argued that the value of defiling an American tradition far outweighs the risk of public backlash. “I myself have been ruining football for almost seven years, and nothing in my life has been more rewarding. I certainly would want my son to have the same opportunity to mangle and dilute the game that I did.” Goodell added that, unfortunately, his two children are both girls, which means neither can ever be NFL commissioner.
