I can take someone like Fauria being dumb. He doesn't have to be especially bright to do his current job. Where he passes into moron territory is when he either he bashes the Patriots or allows others to do it without dissent. He wasn't part of any memorable teams outside of his years in New England. Being part of two championship teams here is why he has a media career in this area. He doesn't seem to understand that when Tim Benz or others would make their tinfoil hat comments about spygate, they were trashing his career. He doesn't need to be an over the top homer who loves everything the Patriots do, but he was at practice, in the meetings, on the sideline and on the field. If he knows if someone is making BS claims, he should say it instead of laughing along with them.

Correct. It's infuriating to listen to. He has the maturity level of a 14 year old. He giggles at sexual double entendres and sounds like a walking ad for Clearasil, that old zit medicine. On Friday's show Ordway, who I think is largely a self-absorbed blowhard, and Merloni, whom I like but realize he's a little thin-skinned, took on Screamin' A Smith pretty well. Fauria wilted. He often claims to be Brady's buddy, but he seldom sounds the part.

But doesn't Fauria work for the Patroits? I haven't watched any episodes of Patriots All Access since last season, but as far as I can remember he's a staple of that show. He's got that SBLI question of the week, as well as that T.U.R.F. segment that he does with Zo. Why would Fauria not defend the wall? Did he get canned or something?

He does those two segments on the show but really it can be explained away as an extension of his radio gig...a sidekick or 3rd wheel. The SBLI segment is just him piggybacking off of Fred Kirsch or Andy Hart after he asks the question. And the T.U.R.F. segment is really Zo doing the "football analysis" and CF just moving in the direction of the play. In short, he's there but if he wasn't it wouldn't make a difference.

As for that crap about Brady taking money from the NFLPA, does this fool not realize that ALL PLAYERS (all employees for that matter) are affected by this? Is he that dense?
