Brady accepting suspension:(

Brady is not allowed in the facilities from September 3 to October 3.

I would love to see a day where Gronk, Edelmen, the o-line, etc, spend a day at Tom's house. Maybe while they're there, they can play a little pick up football to pass the time..... :D

Kraft's statement is bold and says what a lot of us are thinking.

Unfortunately it's WAY too late now.

Wish he was that bold from the start and maybe we wouldn't be here...
Let me refresh your memory. Kraft issued a bold statement prior to the owners meeting and then crawled out on all fours apologizing to his fellow owners and their fan bases for winning too much. In my opinion the craven capitulation is and was his true sentiment and everything he said after that was PR and window dressing.
Actually the time for Kraft to stand up for his team and its fans was in 2007. If he has shown any courage then this incident would not have happened

I am glad it is over. I have had mixed thoughts about the entire issue. Moving on.!

As far as Krafts statement goes...if he truly felt that strongly about what was being done wrongfully to Brady, no way in hell he would be able to laugh with and hug Goddell!!

I don't need my memory refreshed. I know fully well what type of person Kraft is by now and the situations he's put the fans through. The statement is bold. That does not mean I think he's done a good job. Save your condescension for someone else.

At least he didn't correct your spelling. :)

Really? We're doing the grammar nazi thing on here now? I know it's been a tough summer, but come on... :p

I'd still like for him to pursue a defamation suit when he retires.

Before he retires, because of the statute of limitations.

But if he wants to wait until after the upcoming season, that's probably smart. Why? Because there probably will be more defamation by the NFL that can't be excused away as part of a legal or disciplinary process.

Honestly, I don't know if you had any errors in your post. I was poking fun at him cuz he likes to correct peoples' spelling.

Well this week has gone from bad to a little more bad. In the big picture with terrorism, racial strife, political splintering, I guess this isn't that big a deal. But it isn't just about Brady and Ass-dell any more, but about whether an employer can take a dump on your rights. So while this may seem like a small drop in a larger crappy week, it is still another crappy damned drop to a crappy week in our country.

F you Roger. F you NFL. Sorry Brady that this happened to you, but we know this is total ******** what they did to you. Tear this league a new one this year starting week 5.

couldnt agree more

Meh. I thought Tom continued his fight because he believed he was innocent not because someone else was going to play QB. Scatological.
The statements and actions Tom has/hasn't made throughout this debacle make it seem to me that his main priority is staying on the field rather than proving his innocence to people which is clearly a lost cause

Fine by me.........

If he were ultimately going to end up with a four game suspension I think the circumstances couldn't be better.........

1.) right ouf of the gate so Jimmy G. has plenty of prep time during training camp

2.) in year a year in which Jimmy G. will still be under contract during next offseason (potential trade bait)

3.) Three of those games are at home

4.) Those three home games are not against the upper echelon of the NFL

I agree, and I will say this, Karma is a *****. We were innocent in all this ******** and got completely railroaded. But watch Jimmy play great, the Pats go 4-0 and Belichick be sitting on a backup QB worth a small fortune. The adversity will bring our team together, Brady will come out in week 5 well rested and with a burning desire to torch the entire league. Brady gets # 5 and in the offseason Belichick gets to rape the other GM's in the league once again.

Of course everyone will be whining, it's not faaaaaiiiiirrr.
