Brady accepting suspension:(

An elite talent that was available in late rd2 due to playing in the FCS has spent two full seasons behind Brady/BB. He will take over an offense with Gronk/Jules/Bennett/Lewis/etc.

The NFL may have accidentally awakened the next Young/Rodgers. F**k them.

Not saying you're bluffing, but man if I had a nickel for every time I've heard that the last 18 months...

Type down on Google "I'm done with the NFL" and the first five or six pages of results will likely lead you to Patsfans posts.
Note even close

Jesus consenting to the crucifixion; Socrates swallowing the hemlock; Brady accepting the suspension.

Wouldn't actually be opposed to Jimmy tearing it up his first four games, Brady coming back and going on a tear where he doesn't lose another game this season, winning his 5th. Then proceeding to retire immediately after, giving an FU to the league, leaving the reigns to a young and promising Jimmy.

Interesting per Breer -- Brady isn't seeking a Stay, but the NFLPA may wind up appealing to the Supreme Court anyway. Basically one of the options that was talked about in the other threads.

just seen NFLPA said they won't seek a stay but could pursue supreme Court without him...what does that mean, or better yet what good is that if he's already served suspension?

Sure but I'd rather have TB12 playing and shoving it up the azz of every player and Goody for putting the screws to him over the last year and a 1/2

Interesting. The NFLPA press release says they are not seeking a stay "in the interests of certainty and planning for Tom" but are reserving their right to still ask SCOTUS to hear the case.

I was actually hoping Tom would drop it. Everyone's mind was made up on this joke of a"scandal" a year ago. Those of us who acknowledge science realize that there was no evidence of tampering in the first place, everyone else will go to the grave believing evil Brady had ball boys go pull an arbitrary amount of air out of the footballs and should serve a penalty resembling or greater than taking steroids, beating a spouse, etc. This team will be fine without Tom for the first four games, and that's all this is about anymore. Tom continued it this far, I believe, because "you never want to see someone else do your job."

It's for the good of the players. If the Supreme Court hears it and Brady ultimately wins, it means that Berman's interpretation of the CBA is correct, and future players can't get screwed the way Brady was. So it doesn't benefit us or Brady directly, but it will benefit us the next time Goodell has a bug up his ass over the Patriots.

As sick as it makes me, this is probably for the best so the coaches can plan appropriately for TC. Goodell and his cronies can rot in hell, but now we just have to think of this as a TC sprained MCL and get the able backup ready.

Play your ass off, Jimmy, for the team and yourself.

Somewhere, ****er & Schnozz are crossing swords to celebrate what they probably perceive to be an admission of guilt.

I don't blame Tom. He fought his ass off, never capitulated or compromised. But the outlook is bleak in pursuing further legal action. We are all with you Tom. Go out there and kick some ass. Let's win another Super Bowl and shove it in Goodell's infuriating ****ing face.
