It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I felt like standing up in the middle of my apartment and screaming, "Who's with me?!" LolThe only reason I corrected you was because you sound serious and I want to make sure you know where you're going and/or don't get lost. Not that I, along with Supa, would ever condone such behavior (map quest has the necessary details...)
There is no downside to a stay, in this case.
1) Goodell may have been a little careful, but he wasn't perfect. He was caught lying on a couple occasions in his press conferences.Brady has no hope of success in a defamation suit - the cards are stacked against him:
1. He is a public figure
2. Statements made during the legal proceedings are protected
3. Goodell was very careful about what he said otherwise
4. Can't use the leaks
If a stay ends up resulting in the suspension happening in January, I'd say that's a downside. Better to have had no stay and gotten the suspension over with in September.
“I’m very grateful for the overwhelming support I’ve received from Mr. Kraft, the Kraft family, coach Belichick, my coaches and teammates, the NFLPA, my agents, my loving family and most of all, our fans,” Brady wrote. “It has been a challenging 18 months and I have made the difficult decision to no longer proceed with the legal process. I’m going to work hard to be the best player I can be for the New England Patriots and I look forward to having the opportunity to return to the field this fall.”
His argument makes perfect sense and he is 100% correct. You wrote "there is no downside to a stay, in this case."That argument makes no sense at all, in context. It's an argument about the timing of a potential resolution, not about the stay itself.
Without the stay, Brady loses 4 games. With a stay, Brady might not lose any games. It's really that simple.
I don't condone such acts either. You can get caught easily with eggs, toilet paper and the like. Writing ****head across his lawn with something that kills grass wouldn't show up till the next day, so you're less likely to get caught. err, at least that's what I heard.
