Patriots Training Camp Primer - Tight Ends

This position, (like the wide receivers) is one top heavy with roster locks and it will essentially come down to four players competing for one, maybe two roster spots. The question comes down to this: Do the Patriots keep just three tight ends or four?

By the way, have we discussed a nickname for our duo? I've heard Twin Towers. Is that what we're going with? I certainly don't like the connotation, but I'll roll with it if we don't come up with anything better...

This wouldn't even be the first time some tall pass catchers were called the Twin Towers, so if not distasteful, it's unoriginal.
 
Twin Towers might be a bad omen for a name........noam sain :eek:

Respect. That's how you feel. I had people directly involved...employees at the towers, so it strikes a chord with me still. I thankfully didn't lose anyone though. But PTSD is real and I see it firsthand because of family still dealing with what they saw that day.

I don't think you read my post the way it was intended to be read. I never said it wasn't distasteful, I just said even if it wasn't, it still wouldn't be clever.
