Court denies Brady a re-hearing!!!

Hard to imagine him getting any grasp whatsoever of our playbook/system in such a short amount of time.

As funny as it would be, it's also very cost prohibitive. If you think the NYJ offer was low, you should see what Belichick would offer! I'm guessing it'd be about 10 percent of what the Jets offered at 12m dollars.

Probably. Just looking for any possible way to avoid having the Jets waste any money or time on Fitz. Plus yeah, it'd be really damn funny.

It means Brady doesn't have to serve the suspension until the appeal is decided.

Thanks. So what's the odds he gets a stay?

Dan patrick think that brady could drop this without admitting guilt and saying the SCOTUS has a lot of other things on their plate etc and might not fight this more and may get move kudos for that. But he says people have made up their mind about him regardless.
Why don't asshats like Patrick come out and say " The league should drop this because they're are bigger things on their plate". You know, the guys who have no legacy or reputation to lose. It's incredible, the way these idiots think. "Just admit your guilty" WTF?????

Depends who you ask. Couple guys on ESPN today said "their sources" said it was unlikely. As seen above, some legal analysts things there is a roughly 50/50 chance.

The sight of 60 thousand plus fans turning their backs and walking out on Goodell would be a true thing of beauty.

It's a nice idea, but it will never happen. Not because it will be difficult to organize and get everyone one to participate, but because Goodell is a coward.

Remember the 2015 season opener? Goodell was planning to attend, but then Berman ruled against the NFL, Brady was allowed to play, and he changed his plans. He even had the gall to say he didn't want to detract from the game, even though he's been keeping this distraction going for a year and a half. The only time Goodell will show his face at Gillette is after Brady and Belichick are long gone.

By all means, please keep wasting money and time on that terminal dope Gee-No! No need to waste money and time on a quarterback that can help your team win a few games.

Yeah I'm done getting my hopes up, such bs, nothing we can do.

so tebow wont speak at the convention.

tom should take his place. huge audience, **** on goodell. he should totally do this!!!

I have to agree with you. For the first time, I am going into something thinking we will lose (not including the arbitration hearing which was rigged from the get go).

no, we really don't. No one other than pathetic Rat fans know this feeling.

That's what I'm thinking as well, Tune, but apparently, there's a large group of Jet fans who are clamoring for Geno Smith. Go figure. ;)

"Believe me when I tell you" (Oh, Darling) that I hope Fitzpatrick continues to stand his ground, and that the front office continues to lowball the hell out of him.

Is it really possible to lowball a free agent? I mean, if one offer was low, wouldn't the player then just take the next non-lowball offer from another team?

The Jets have the largest (and only) offer out to Fitz. IMO it's already way too high.

The Jets offer to Fitzpatrick should probably be in line with the majority of other middle tiered starting QBs in the league, considering that he just broke the franchise's single season record for TD passes and almost led them to a playoff berth.

Yes, a contract that pays 12m for the first year (still too low by about 2m dollars in my opinion), and then 8m for each of the next two years would certainly be an act of low balling their offer. As you mentioned previously, he could make up to 12m in each year if he reached maximum incentives, but even that would still be near the bottom of starting QBs come 2018.

Man a part of me still wants to hold out hope things go well if or when he appeals to the SC but I have little to no faith in the system. If the system was fair to begin the first ruling would of never been overturned.
