because ad revenue is way down due to ad blockers and I needed a little help, but I didn't want to ask for donations unless people could at least get something tangible for their $18.00.

Can I suggest a survivor competition with $5 or $10 entry and last man standing taking 50% or men standing and that 50% divided with the other 50% going to the site.

Or you could have several survivors going with a participant limit in each. Or one mega one and several smaller ones also.

All could be done on the MB or if you want you could code stuff. Paypal payments only.

Is this construed as gambling though, don't even know if it would be legal to do it. Just an idea.

4 Justices on the Supreme Court just ruled that they believe that Obama can write his own immigration laws, despite what that pesky Constitution says. One of them, of course, was Bader. So holding out any hope that they will now turn around and overturn a lower courts decision basically saying that Goodell can do whatever he wants, is senseless.

bingo

wish tom would say something, stop listening to lawyers ****ty advice. time to fire that fool don yee. lol

I really need to stay off the comments on Facebook under articles about this, I seriously get so pissed at how people are still putting out there all this false information about Brady. I really do hope he does that defamation lawsuit because wow did they kill his reputation:(

I think the gambling thing might be the only issue. There will be some fun contests coming this season after I figured out a way over the offseason to tie in your registrations with doing some things on the site that couldn't be done previously. Prizes probably will be non-cash but hopefully still cool nonetheless.

I'm still putting them together, but hopefully by the time the season starts they'll be done :)

don't read that ****. nfl network was all over this today basically destroying tom. same with espn. brady's reputation/legacy is forever tainted thanks to this ****.

tom should be someone who is celebrated for being a 6th round pick who worked hard and became the GOAT..instead most of the country think he's a cheat!

The thing about internet comments sections is that they're where the stupidest people of the human race reside. Go into any comments section and, right alongside the "Brady is a cheat!" crap, you'll see people sincerely claiming that 9/11 was an inside job, the president is both an atheist and simultaneously a muslim, we're ruled by a race of alien lizard people, etc. etc.

What matters to me is the opinion of actual people who I know and give a **** about. And among those people, even the ones that hate the Pats--and there's a lot of them, I live in LA--have kinda come around to the simple fact that there's no real evidence that any violation actually happened.

All you need to remember is the NFL'S lawyer, when questioned in court, answered "there was no evidence Brady did anything." End of discussion with whatever clueless liquors up twit is running their mouth.

Talkback radio and "news story" comments are wonderful demonstrations of human stupidity.

one other thing I hope, is Brady is NEVER civil to Goddell or the nfl office, no matter what! I don't want him to be what some might say is the better man. I hope he always shows disgust towards them, for what they did to him he has every right to

For starters, get BB to give him pointers on one word answers at Pressers.

No matter what happens..people will always hate us because we win...it will always be something..just move on to another winning season!

Tom always was very popular with the ladies. :D

I like the chances of a stay (from Ginsburg, not CA2), but I do not like our chances of the USSC actually agreeing to hear it. It raises the question of when is the best time for Brady to file the appeal. They have until October 13, but I would not recommend waiting that long because it could put December/January at risk.

IF we get the stay, I think they will file within a month or so, maybe less. Any potential suspension could still take place, just with a different 4 games so it may be risky to delay too long.

I heard an interesting take on WEEI today. New guy and can't remember his name. Anyways he thinks Brady should consider not asking for the stay but still appeal to the SC. That way he knows which games he is missing rather than risking having them during a playoff run.

from what i understand, if brady petitions the SCOTUS, his hearing/ruling wont be till 17

Just wait until Goodell has to give him the trophy on the podium in February! That will be one of the most dramatic moments in sports history.

If he gets a stay he will play the entire season no problem because it will take months from the November hearing to get a decision. So we would get to go through this again.

I would rather see Brady not go the Supreme court route but I doubt that's what the NFLPA wants.
That would free him up now to go what I think is the best route.

Brady should go full ahead on a massive libel suit against the NFL ... forcing them to discovery.
A libel suit would clear his name more IMO than a SCOTUS win would.

Yeah I heard that too. Might not be the worst idea.... but it got me wondering, purely hypothetically:

Suppose Brady continues the appeal but serves the suspension. He doesn't get paid. Then suppose he wins the appeal. I assume he gets paid and the team has to pay him. But that's not terribly fair to the team considering they (obviously) do not support the suspension.

Just some random thoughts....
