Court denies Brady a re-hearing!!!

I can't even believe you've talked yourself into believing what you just wrote.

It's the exact opposite. If I come here, the league pays Ian money. If I watch games, someone pays the league money. See the difference?

You are missing the point.

Let me break it down for you.

Fan-NFL-Product is the buying motion. Fan watches NFL. Fan sees add for beer. Fan buys beer.
Beer company pays network to post ad during NFL games because of audience. Network pays NFL $. If fans don't watch Beer co pays network less which in turn pays NFL less.

Poster- PatsFans.com- Pats Pro Shop. Poster sees ad for Brady jersey on Patsfans.com. Fan buys Brady jersey. Pats Pro Shop pays Andy $ to post ad here b/c of audience. If posters don't come here Pats Pro Shop doesn't pay Andy. In this model, Andy is both the NFL & the Network. He is the entertainment and the communication platform.

Fortunately, I don't answer to you, nor am I as misguided as you. I'll do it my own way, thank you.

Misguided? LOL. Go ahead and boycott the NFL at a way your are most comfortable. I could care less what the hell you do.

OMG I hate Stephen A Smith so much!! He's already running his ugly ass mouth!
Ya he's a POS. I knew his response was coming as soon as I heard the decision. I could practically write his diatribe for him, he's so predictable in this case.

Man Brady needs to give up on this **** and attack the shield, call for a press conference tomorrow, say everything he has to say about this and I believe there is a lot, just need to take care to not give them ammo for another process or a law suit and call some names, makes some tough questions to the press, call that liar who leaked the false news and expose the fraud that this is since the beginning. I believe he can say Goodell is a bad commissioner after all this would be his opinion not an offense (I would rather see him calling goodell a cancer, but that may be reason for another suspension for integrity), say he is bad for the sports and some things, and **** this once and for all.

That's as close as you'll get to a troll apologizing.

He's pissed now. I can smell his IP address smoking.

He thought he had me but now realizes he screwed up. OUCH.

Then he followed it up with his poor attempt to move the goalposts and failed. UUGGHH

Can't wait for his next post. It should be a doozy. Should be a real Whizbanger.

The Pat's should go through all the usual hoops and then a minute before kickoff on opening night, walk off the field!!!

Screw Goodell and his corrupt NYJFL! They will be left with no game on Sunady night, the Cardinals will be stuck with the refunds. The players should send out a notice that they will not take the field without Brady.

Let Goodell have to defend his indefensible charges to his sponsors!!!

Good post. :)

You can disagree with a viewpoint with mocking or having contempt for those who hold it. I'm gonna stop. I got a little too mean.

Glad I pay no heed to BSPN*'s perpetual douchebaggery...another reason not to tune in, all the naysayers piling up on the GOAT. Brunell must really be getting in touch with his feminine side RE today's developments.

Still plan on picking up Madden, showing my support for the GOAT, the Pats, and cover-boy Gronk. I will be tuning into the games on Internet radio (I live in Missouri), and the NFL* can fark itself.

I bet the union leadership wants to proceed even more than Brady does. As things currently stand, Goodell pretty much has unlimited power and any ruling he makes will be "confirmed" by CA2, no matter how unfair. I am sick of the mediots and Stephen A Smiths of the world saying that Brady is being selfish here. This is a huge loss for the union as a whole, not just Brady.

I think that all that attend the first home game should stand with their backs to the field never watching a single play.

And boo that f*cking traitor **** Bendover Bob. I still can't get rid that taste of disgust when the loud cheer came when he appeared with the Lombardi on opening night. Freaking disgusting!

He didn't play dumb, he was legitimately baffled since he didn't understand how the balls could be at the levels the NFL* said they were.

And not only that, if you listen to or read the transcript of that press conference, Brady clearly denies over and over and over that he did anything wrong. Those sharks (read: reporters) kept asking him the same damn question a trillion times...("Are you a cheater? Do you think you're a cheater? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SAY TO THE CHILDREN?") he probably got sick of saying the same answer of "I've answered that already" and gave the other answer that was worded differently of "I don't think"...and THAT was what the media played as soundbytes and clips for their broadcasts, which made Brady seem like he was "soft" and "unsure" when he was nothing of the sort.

That's how the league expects it to work, and is why they give Ian money. Except in my case, fan does not buy Brady jersey, does not follow any links to any NFL site, league does not get what they think they are paying for. Ian takes their money and they get nothing.

Yes, misguided, if you believe what you wrote above.

First you tell me what to do, then claim you "could care less" (lol) what I do. Which is it?

I wouldn't give up until all avenues are exhausted. But when the time comes I would go public with all my opinions and not worry one bit about further punishment from the league. Let them go ahead and punish me more for speaking out that would totally back fire on them as I don't think the public would agree with it and they would totally change public sentiment on the whole fiasco.

Actually if it were me in his shoes I would just retire before serving a single game of a suspension then hold the above press conference telling Goodell he can go F' himself and that he has driven me out of the league as I won't play for a boss so corrupt. Then I would go play in the CFL.

For those that say they won't watch the games:
this sh*& just became a lot more compelling.
One thing Bill Belichick is pretty good at is righteous indignation. This is classic 'win one for the Gipper' kind of stuff. How do you fight back? Win. Win big.
Don't bet against David when he brings his sling.

That's fine. Except for fans there is no game to win, let alone win big. The only way to fight back is with your wallet. Stop paying the salaries of the scumbags who are railroading the real people you are rooting for.

Read the NFL constitution, they most certainly can take a franchise if they feel he is not acting in the best interests of the league. I am traveling and don't have the link but someone can bring it up .
NFL can do whatever they want. Constitution lol? Court won't want to get involved.

I'm with you, but I hope there is a defamation lawsuit stapled to that.

Absolutely! I support this as well.

I'm sure we're all quite upset that Brady will (likely) be unable to play in the first four games -- that part has tangible consequences on our viewing experience and the team itself. Any game that Brady is unable to play in is a massive loss for all; fans, the team (and its chances of success), etc.

Brady's legacy is less of a concern of mine, given that public (and individual) opinion(s) are largely uncontrollable, especially at this stage. What my neighbor, my neighborhood, the city I live in, etc, thinks of Tom Brady doesn't particularly matter to me.

What infuriates me is that Kensil, Pash, Goodell, et al., are, for all intents and purposes, winners in all of this. Knowing that these duplicitous, two-faced, lying assholes are somewhere smiling, pisses me off more than anything else. The powers that be who overturned Berman's decision and then denied this petition are right behind those aforementioned clowns, in terms of who/what is pissing me off the most, given that their incompetence and/or bias ultimately caused all of this.

I'm on vacation for the week at my GF's family's place and was planning on enjoying myself -- currently well into my first gin and tonic of the day. I hope her father is an understanding guy because I'm going to burn through the majority of his liquor cabinet over the next few hours.
