Court denies Brady a re-hearing!!!

To any lurking Hatriots:

It's the dog days of Summer, with only baseball going on. Many of the teams you follow have question marks for the 2016 season. Today at the sites of other teams, you are not discussing if you are a contender. No you are singing in a kid's voice Ding Dong the Witch is Dead - dancing on Brady's grave.

Enjoy your "Superbowl."

Because your SB will be long forgotten by October.

And the Pats will be at least 3-1 when Brady comes back for payback.

here's the thing - the team plays better when it's angry. if it means a 5th title so be it.
Brady has entered the twilight of his career. Every remaining game is precious and is a means for him to build upon his legacy. No matter how hard people try to look for silver linings, this is bad for Brady, the players, the fans and the NFL itself. It's sad that the NFL front office is so greedy and petty that they can't see that. Integrity my ass.

Agreed 100%, BUT....

it won't really matter if a healthy and well rested Brady gets his 5th ring.

Peyton Manning played in 10 regular season games last year and still won a Super Bowl. If Brady plays 12 games, hopefully 11 with the final game of the season being meaningless, I don't think anyone will care.

Wow, listening to zo lose his mind right now re the nflnetwork's take, which can be summed up "Brady should take the 4 games, because blm/Dallas and it would be selfish to continue this fiasco." The ****?

It matters to me.

FWIW, McCann points out on twitter that when Maurice Clarett asked RBG for a stay back in 2004 she made her decision (deny) in two days.

Tom better lose his Make America Great Again hat if it's gonna be up to RBG to grant review

I know it's a bunch of BS man, but just trying to give you a silver lining.

Plus, a healthy Brady means more seasons of Brady, so there's that too.

My hope is that Brady wins the SB MVP and then retires from the NFL* so in that vein we would lose four opportunities to see Brady play.

Of course my fantasy also includes Brady tackling Goodell and trying to shove the Lombardi Trophy up his ***, so a retirement would be a moot point with the resultant suspension.

4-0. And I'll go on record saying I don't think it'll be Carson Palmer heading the Pats IF they drop one of the first four. I know they'll be good. But Palmer sucks in big games for real lately. Go back and watch. It showed even before the playoffs. And truth be told, they got a HOF effort from a HOF player when Fitz pretty much went crazy against GB who pretty much dominated the Divisional game. I know it's a new season, but I'm being it'll be the same Carson Palmer.

I'm more interested in that BUF game. That D gave Brady hell in that second meeting. We don't know what the line will look like, only assuming Scar will me all the difference. We'll see. Jimmy may be holding the ball for that extra half second or so longer than Brady. That's ripe for the pickings against the Ryan bros.

Looks like the NFLPA chances of a SC hearing rest on the outcome of the Peterson case. Wow!

And that's the main reason why everyone, even people who hate NE, should want Goodell's head on a plate. Why would you want anyone undermining the game you claim to love? Fans should be outraged and I'd be singing the same tune even if I was not a Patriots fan.

My fear is that we won't get that decision in time for our appeal. The ruling is already about 6 months overdue from when it was originally expected. I see no reason to think it won't continue to be delayed.

We know better, but those fans legit believe Brady is guilty and their team is full of lawful good guys. "Fans" are indeed blinded and that is why they will celebrate this ruling. It's a sad time in sports. I really find it hard to believe it's gotten to this point. Science is dead. Bring back the witches and soothesayers.

stupid comparison.

brady should keep fighting.

That's ******** and you know it.

Court proceedings and outcomes can and are wrong all the time. People are human. Despite best position, we're fickle, fallible folk who pretend otherwise.
I agree. Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman would probably agree as well

Bad thing is the league front loaded home games. If they happen to suck without Brady and go 0-4, 1-3 that means realistically they need 12-0 or 11-1 over last 3/4 season. Tough with only 5/12 home games. This is all part of goodels plan to "level" the playing field.
F him and F Krafty Bob for taking it in the cornhole....

Olson was brought on for the eventual Supreme Court appeal. They gave en banc a shot because they had nothing to lose, but I think they were focused on the USSC once he arrived.

And as much of a long shot as a USSC appeal is, if you go strictly by numbers, it is actually a better chance than en banc ever was.

The absurd trivial nature of this is definitely reason for the NFL not to have pursued it. Brady's reputation has been at stake, so sorry, not trivial to him NFL Network.
