Soylent Green...EEEEEEEEEEwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Haven't heard that in quite a few years......worse than Gerber mushed green beans......

Okay, but Jets and Chiefs, as of today, have won more Super Bowls wearing their real logos and uniforms than the (team from N.E. that calls itself) Patriots.

The Flying Elvis is not why Brady and Belichick are here.

What i would give to step foot on the field and just play a casual flag football game..not asking for the world here..but man would that be...YES

Robert Edwards...don't do it...

Yep, the real reason of course is, my wife. Six weeks after I married her, Parcells (didn't) take off from the Superdome with the team, and Kraft and Belichick sat next to each other on the flight home. The bald guy in the dark suit sitting behind them on the plane was September, an observer from the Fringe series, who tends to show up at important historical events. Anyway, for Belichick and Brady, it's always been about football; that is, substance over style. I was kind of disappointed Bill didn't get rid of Bledsoe as he did Kosar in Cleveland; but Kraft signing Bledsoe to a huge new contract before the season might have contributed to that. So I see her as our good luck charm, but even she wasn't enough to overcome the flying elvis' shroud of doom that denied them a title for ten years. It's not like I ever "got over" having our logo and uniforms needlessly destroyed in '93; it's that it had been, well, decades since I got to see real, genuine football out there, and it happened to occur in Foxborough. I always liked Belichick, Vrabel, Cox, Harrison, Dillon, Moss et. al. but I never imagined they would wind up here. Joe Montana had a shot at winning - and looking like - a champion his whole career; I think Brady's earned the right to try now, while there's still time.

Was at the Rev's game tonight ...

that turf is real deep and real full of the black pellets ... looks nice no more well worn out look.

Did they install the new turf on the patch just outside the pro shop?

I don't know ... I entered through the back.

Robert Edwards...don't do it...

...on the sandy beach...

I was in Maui on vacation when that happened. I saw a local paper with a big picture of Robert Edwards on the cover and thought "oh, cool. Some local love for the Pats" then I read the headline.....

Ironically, I was also in Maui on vacation when Dale Ernhardt died at Daytona.....

Maybe I should stay away from Maui...?

or maybe not.

As of right now ... this turf is slow ... very slow and very hard to turn on a dime with it.
Seems good for a running game but a precision passing game I'm not so sure right now.
When the soccer players make a quick move on it there's a pellet spray ... strange sight.

Hopefully it settles after a time.......either that or roll it down ;)

I was going to reply about Roger Goodell being Irish, but I decided against it.
Hey, don't blame us Irish for the Omissioner.

Besides, with a middle name of Stokoe, how Irish is he really?

We're all just patiently waiting for your first comment that is not uniform-related.
How'd you like a tsunami over every thread regarding Michael Jackson's Victory Tour and what happened to Chuck Sullivan?
