Ordway coming back to WEEI?

Bring back Damon Amendolara. The only guy who was on night time sports in this town in the last decade who actually knew how to talk sports. In fact, he was better than half the guys on the day shifts.

The ESPN NY scumbags will try to get another freakin' Tim Benz type azzole to fill Mikey's chair..as well as give the popcorn gangsta punk Muddanski the rest of the year to whine like the ADHD riddled spoiled jerkoff he is.

Must not listen radio.

Been a while since I was in the car late enough to listen to Mikey. I liked the show and hope he shows up at a time when I am in the car. I like Ordway as a #2 type. I liked when he was on the morning drive. I change the station as soon as I hear Gary Tanguay's cartoon voice. Jerry Thornton is subtraction by addition of the drive home.

The Sox are competitive, we are in the middle of an election, and I am listening to FM music.

Benz was a very special, unique sort of jerkoff. He was really thin-skinned and easy to piss off via texting. A Spygate truther to his core and rabid Steeler fan, he loved the "Cheatriots" angle. I successfully really pissed him off one time after he spouted the "they haven't won a SB since Spygate" cliche by responding: "the Steelers haven't won a SB since Milledgeville." He immediately, while still on the air, texted a long string of very bad words to me. Bingo...

They should have moved him to midday instead of that fat oaf Beetle.

First, you realize that half the guys on the radio aren't Boston sports teams fans. Fred Toucher, Rich Shertenlieb, Mike Felger, etc. are fans from other areas. Fred Smerlas is a Pats fans when he is on Boston radio and a Bills fan when he is on Buffalo radio. We know the famous incident with Steve DeOssie trashing the Patriots at a Giants' event. Boomer Esiason does a weekly spot on 98.5 when he kisses the Pats' asses and then goes on his show on WFAN and trashes them.

Second, the guy actually talked real sports. He didn't concern himself with stupid hot button issues that are only sorta about sports. The content of his show was excellent. I could care less if he was a closeted Dolphins' fan. His show was the best show on Boston radio when he was on.

Douche & the Sewer Yorker suck too. You couldn't pay me to listen to them.

98.5 sucks so badly overall it isn't funny.

Sports talk is a matter of personal taste. Plenty of people who listened to the DA show will tell you it is far better than anything else on either channel.

I like Toucher and Rich better than Dennis & Callahan especially since Gary "Hey, I am going to be a contrarian because it works for Felger" Tanguay has been a regular guest on D&C.

I really dislike Felger and Mazz yet I will listen or watch them because they cover all the teams and many topics.

I had EEI on during my am drive. Tanguay and Dennis were ranting about alcohol rehab. I immediately turned it off.

Fred Toucher is a major douche. He's on vacation this week and Rich is in the main seat. 100% improvement. Still not great, but better.

I like the T&R show... liked it more a few years ago... but man Fred is SO bad lately... sounds drunk half the time, doesn't give a crap about any stories, no interest in putting in effort to be funny... just like you said, he's a major douche.

I'm glad it's not just me. He used to be pretty funny. He literally hates almost everybody and everything. He's got a major bone-on for Edelman and it's even spread to Rich to a lesser degree.
