Now you're just lying. You claim an attempt to "make peace" and then you continued the same discussion.

I responded to a poster who had quoted me from an earlier post, but I kept my peace with you. In my opinion, we hashed it out rather quickly and moved on--until you jumped back in with some direct quotes and snarky comments towards me (again).

We may have a difference of opinion on a totally meaningless issue, but please do not call me a liar or claim that I was being disingenuous. Anyone who knows me here would instantly realize that isn't true.

How presumptuous to think that anyone with a dissenting opinion is "trolling". I think Deus gets the credit for introducing this despicable substitute for argument to the board.

OMG you just can't help yourself, can you? Even after promising I would only be continuing this conversation "with myself" (and threw in the requisite "take care" comment) you still can't let it go!!!

You have lied about my actions in this thread, and been disingenuous in many ways. You obviously are obsessed with having the last word, so I'll let you have it and show what it is really like when someone has the internal fortitude to leave a conversation.

Please note that this doesn't mean I won't be responding to other comments in this thread, I'll just let you have the last word you so desperately crave in our little tete-a-tete.

Take care.

Honestly, are we still talking about KD? Just close the thread already.

Seriously would you 2 pack it in. Ruining a decent thread with back and forth bickering. You both keep saying agree to disagree - do it then and leave it alone

I'm still looking for when LeBron left a team because they were bad. Both the Cavs and the Heat were good until he left, and then they were bad.

Yes, I know. Jumping to a 33-win team hoping to gel with complete strangers and eventually win a ring is totally the same thing as jumping to a 73-win team that's already the prohibitive favorite. Identical! There's no difference between wanting to build and lead a championship team ... and jumping on a juggernaut because you can't beat them and be along for the ride.

I can't waste anymore time on this.

Did you conveniently forget that Lebron left the team with the best rs record in 2009 in his 66 win Cavs? He left a team that wasnt quite good enough to win it all losing in the ecf, just like Kd left a 55 win Okc team that lost in the wcf.

Just bcuz Miami wasnt a powerhouse in 2010 doesnt mean they werent prohibitive favourites when Lebron/Wade/Bosh joined forces. Bottom line is both were/are ring chasing. These complete strangers in lebron was joining in Wade/Bosh were BOTH all-nba level players! If thats not stacking the deck I have nothing more to say. Call a spade a spade. Thats all.

Didn't you say that LeBron doesn't stick with teams through the bad times? He left Cleveland after a 60+ win season, and left Miami after a finals appearance. Those are "bad times?" So you're wrong there.

At any rate, Chris Bosh made one All-NBA second team, and that was three years before LeBron showed up. So far, you've used the "All-NBA level player!" argument for two guys who have a combined three second team nods, none of them while with LeBron. You know your argument sucks, you just won't admit it.

Honestly youre just in denial but well agree to disagree.

Wade and Bosh were both all nba level players. Thats a fact. Lebron also left the team with the best RS record. Thats a fact. Your premise of Lebron staying and battling through bad times is absolutely inaccurate. Both left after 7-9 seasons where they couldnt ring. Another undeniable fact. Your point is just flat out not true. Lebron isnt some player who will just ride it out. He didnt want to remain ringless like other greats (Ewing, Barkely, Mailman).

Bad times by Lebrons standards is no ring. Had they 3peated in 2014 he said it himself he wouldnt hv left.

Im not denying KD is stacking the deck. He absolutely is. You have yet to acknowledge Lebron has done the same thing, twice!

My point is thay both have stacked the deck (well within their right). Ask anyone on this forum and they would agree with that. GSW is more proven but if they were 73-win good they should've won the ring this year then no? They didnt. Both Lebron and KD both put themselves in the best position to win as many titles as they could. Thats all the ammo I need for such a simple concept you dont seem to grasp. Cheers.

"Your premise of Lebron staying and battling through bad times is absolutely inaccurate." I never said anything remotely like this. I actually said the opposite. Stop drinking.

Miami has two rings and four finals because of LeBron. Cleveland has a ring and three Finals because of him. That's three rings and seven Finals that neither team would have if not for LeBron.

GS already has a ring and just came off a 73-win season. They would have most likely won a ring next year. All of this is without Durant.

How you can't see a difference between that and adding Kevin Love to a 33-win team is, quite frankly, incomprehensible.

That is such ********. LeBron, albeit a big part in the success of both Miami and Cleveland, is not the reason either team won. Is he a huge part in the success? Sure, nobody can deny that. Hell, Cleveland wouldn't have even sniffed the championship this season if Kyrie Irving didn't play outstanding basketball for 6/7 games and hit the championship winning shot in Curry's face, on Curry's home court.

Nobody can deny LeBron wasn't a major player in the success, and yes, it could be possible neither team wins anything without him but it's also entirely possible, however improbable, they could have.

So you're saying that both the Miami and Cleveland rosters were championship rosters without LeBron.

Okay, that's enough PatsFans for me today, I think.

Miami, no, but in conjunction with Bosh and the players they were able to attract, they became a championship roster. Cleveland on the other hand, they were building something around Kyrie and may very well have got there without LeBron. That however, we'll never know.

I didn't realize that they don't televise the NBA in Australia.

Marin Cilic just outchoked GSW+OKC in Wimbledon against Federer.

Bingo.

Great post. Also, if LeBron didn't have at least 4 other people on his team, they would have lost every game by forfeit.

Naaah, Cleveland had nothing but a one way ticket to palookaville without LeBron. Very poorly managed team.

The personnel moves were done to appease him. Thats the danger of bending over too much for one player. In Miami, at least Riley had a spine to do whats best for their team not necessarily what Lebron wanted only. Cavs were poorly managed from the perspective of catering too much to Lebron.
