Historically speaking, the idea of a dream team hasn't worked out too well in sports.

What an uninformed douchebag of a thing to say. I hope that whatever team you're actually a fan of implodes and sucks for the rest of your pathetic existence.I can't imagine a worse hell for a young black star than Boston.
I have no problem with KD selecting GSW despite the seeming disdain a lot of people have for the move. Signing with GS, barring epic chokes or a devastating injury, is a surefire way to win some championships. Sucks for the rest of the league but good for them....

Boston as a whole got a bad rap because of the ******** that went on is Southie 30 years ago. Have you seen Southie lately? It's upscale and very diverse. I've spent a significant amount of time in most every major city in this country, and as far as racism goes, Boston has relatively little compared to most. Look at the pat down **** that went on in NYC until just recently...
Here's an idea. Stop pretending to be a Pats fan and post on forums of teams of which you are actually a fan. GFY.
No, I pointed out the massive disparity between GS and the teams LeBron went to. Someone called Cleveland a "superteam" and Love a "perennial all-NBA talent" and I literally laughed. LeBron went to middling teams and got them rings. You said LeBron doesn't chase rings, he delivers them. The premise of your opinion is incorrect. LeBron chases rings just like Durant is chasing a ring. I don't begrudge either of them that course of action nor do I think Miami or Cleveland have anywhere near the level of talent the starting 5 GSW will put out next season. The problem here is, to appear correct, you've done all you can to discredit the talent of the players both existing and attracted to Miami and Cleveland.
Boston's draw doesn't compare with cities like Miami, LA and NYC for young millionaire athletes (notice the lack of a racial qualifier). The weather sucks, the bars close too early, and the club scene leaves much to be desired. If my family wasn't up here, I wouldn't live anywhere near the Northeast. I'm not saying Boston sucks, but it certainly isn't a top tier city in terms of the draw it has for young millionaire athletes.Way to cherry pick my post. You didn't quote the rest, which explained that comment, so you could post your faux, self-righteous, outrage. Most young black athletes would choose almost any other city than Boston. Greg Lee said as much in the video I linked. You should ask yourself why the fact that young black athletes generally don't like Boston makes you so furious. Actually, I don't think you are furious, like I said, just faux, self-righteous outrage.

Don't confuse contempt with anger. Your act grew stale long ago. Again, why not just post on forums for teams of which you are a fan.
Honestly, I don't think there's any comparison to make to the NFL. It's like throwing 4-5 pro bowlers onto a team.I'm sorry, but there's absolutely no way you can put a positive spin on what Durant just did.
Now, it's easy to say that since I'm not a Warriors fan, but considering the NBA is such a "star league" unlike any other sports league, the move is just so cowardly and throws the entire competitive balance of the NBA out of whack, pretty much making it La Liga.
It would be like Brady being a free agent this past offseason and burning us and signing with the Denver Broncos to be their new QB...
Heck, on the flip side, it would be like Von Miller deciding tomorrow that he's signing with the Pats. Yeah, we'd all love it, but the entire league would literally be outside Gillette with pitchforks, claiming it's even MORE unfair LOL
I thought Durant was the "anti-LeBron".....turns out he was even worse.....
Even after corrected, you still interpret contempt as anger. There's no point in lying anymore, we all know you're not a fan of the Patriots. It is my understanding that it goes beyond the bars closing early and the weather.
I've been a patriots fan since the Ray Berry days. I'm not one of these joke "fans" that are overrunning this site who claim they are done "when Brady retires". Why don't you direct your faux outrage at them?
On both sides of the ball.Honestly, I don't think there's any comparison to make to the NFL. It's like throwing 4-5 pro bowlers onto a team.

I actually expect them not to win a championship next year.
I think we all agree that he just wants to win a ring. He simply chose the easiest path possible by joining the team that he can't beat. Like I said earlier, it's his career, so he should do him. I just wish he never started with the "growth" nonsense.KD just wants to win a championship. GS is the easiest place to sign. It's like JJ Watt signing with NE.
Wow. 30 or so Teams and you're boldly predicting that one'f'm won't win it. So ballsy.

I'm betting that they may or may not win it.
