It's short so he can maximize his earnings as the cap goes up. This is no short term trial. Hes there for the long run I'd assume...

Even if Durant stays, I have a hard time seeing them keeping all four of those guys.

Well they made a run to get him.

Durant will never be the man in GS, it is Curry's team. If he won with the C's he's a legend.

San Fran is the "new media" capital of the world and beyond the basketball success KD will have over the next half decade, I can envision mega opportunities being offered this guy given the extreme wealth/power emanating from this region. I suspect the Warrior's offer included sweetener opportunities like never before.
Sad for OKC…365 days from now they will have nothing.
Too bad for Boston but the Celts still have hope/assets to get them to the promised land….it just may take a bit longer than hoped.

There's no reason they can't, they have bird rights on steph, klay, and green and can go over the cap to keep them.

The other factor no one wants to talk about is who wants to live in OKC

It would depend on how confident in my own abilities I was. If I saw myself as a role player and member of the supporting cast then absolutely, I go to Golden State.

But if I saw myself as the caliber of player who can lead a team to a championship, then I'd either stay in OKC or go to Boston.

So I guess we all now know how Durant views himself.
