Ahhhh spoke too soon. Pleasantly surprised that we got Horford after all. Now we are seriously in the running for Durant and if we do....OMG. Just like that the C's are contenders again.

And if not at least Horford is a really good player and fills out need as a big man.

The thing that cracks me up is the Celtics control the 1st round draft pick of arguably the worst team in the NBA for each of the next 2 years.

Maybe I am daydreaming, and I never thought we would get Durant, but it sure does seem interesting that the Celtics meet with Durant and then, a couple hours later, give Horford that deal.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.................

Howard got an overpay in Atlanta and Evans was a huge overpay for a 2nd line player.
Atlants should have signed Horford first then went after Howard ... I think it pissed Al off a bit.
They were trying to trade Milsap to save cap space now he must be saying WTF this team.

Horford isn't a 4 in today's NBA in my opinion. Atlanta made out well, I actually prefer Dwight on that contract. But, Horford is probably more well liked so I think everyone won ultimately. Except for Milsap who is probably pissed and will bail next offseason.

San Antonio's offense totally **** the bed in the playoffs because nobody could shoot. They got beat even with Aldridge feasting. When they beat Miami they were hitting tons of 3's. An offense centered around big Al isn't a recipe for success, especially because he's a poor passer. Duncan at least will pass.

Seriously. The guy is a #1, genuine, awesome human being. Has more "integrity" then the whole F'n league, combined. And people just want to chop him down, just because he's better than them.
