with the 3rd pick in the NBA Draft...

Well, there's your center.

Like to see a bunch of shooters drafted now .. maybe one works out.

Ante Zizic ... nice ... finally a center and hopefully he develops quickly.
Kid has a high motor and tough as nails ...

All 3 players drafted are tough as nails ... there's a plan here.

I guess. Speculation though is that both Guershon and Zizic will be playing in Europe next season. It would have been nice if one of those two picks could have been someone who might contribute this year. But I guess when you have this many picks, the cap becomes a thing and maybe they're planning some FA moves. Maybe Horford for 2 years?

they are going to have to stash these guys in the d league or somewhere else. the only guy you will see next year is brown imo.

Now that we have a decent center in the wings I would welcome Horford here ... we need a rim protector and we really don't need offense from them ... Zeller is just horrible in the paint ... Sullinger is to short and Johnson is too old.

Damn when I was younger we laughed at all these foreigners ... usually stiff and slow ... now wow ... a ton of them.

Fixed that for you.

Yes! There's my binky!

****, they're trading him?

Ooo Ben Bentil.. That kid's a player! That's an absolute steal.

Man, the the commenters at espn boston REALY REALLY REALLY hate Jaylen Brown. I don't get it. It was pretty widely recognized that 3-8 were all pretty hard to rank against each other. Why is Brown suddenly the worst draft pick in the history of basketball?

I had to answer this for you. ESPN loathes ANY NE team. Brown will be a stud, and that's even from my extremely limited knowledge of the colleg ranks. Put him with Brad, and watch out. ESPN knows this.

Just watch out for local stuff tomorrow. :( I hope Brown shoves a massive Porzingas up their collective a**holes. My guess, is he will.

Amid the hype on talk radio that really big things were going to happen last night.. I am somwjat disappointed. I do not know if this is a good or bad draft, but I expected a bigger splash..

Now we have three 1st rounders next year.. Brooklyn, Memphis and Boston's... I like Brown, Bentil and Jackson.. but College hoops and the NBA are light years apart.

Note to all: avoid talk radio today as there will be a whole lot of yelling and screaming..

USA Today seemed to imply they did ok..

Actually like this draft a lot. French dude with the whacky name is the Draymond Green/Boris Diaw type player I've been dying to get.

Given my hard work and commitment the past few weeks regarding the Celts draft, I feel unsatisfied. On to the Bruins draft then….at least their foreign picks are on the same continent (but not always). I need a new hobby

actually the celtics don't own the nets 1st rd pick next year. they can swap their 1st rd pick with the nets for theirs. but they do own the nets 1st rd pick in 2018.

I thought the C's just had one first round pick next year (and the right to swap with NJ). Where did the second one come from?
