Well by "worst team," I'm referring to the fact that they statistically had the worst record after he left. They outright sucked.

I'm just giving my opinion that I think a lot of the "Lebron is leaving" chatter will amount to the same as last season--which is absolutely nothing. He made it fairly clear last summer that the only reason he didn't sign a long term pact is because he finds it more financially beneficial going year to year.

You may be correct in the long term, @woolster22. I'm just stating my opinion, that's all.

Fair enough. I think I've made it pretty clear my thoughts re lebron. Ditto my lack of trust re the nba.

I can certainly appreciate the benefits of being "home." Then again, for a family of his monetary ability, I'd imagine "home," could be established where convenient. I obviously can't vouch for his home life, nor do I intend to try or speculate. I just believe, as a competitor, at some point the guaranteed nba contract takes a back seat to winning rings.

Maybe it's my spoiled youth and watching T F'n B.

I haven't been following this thread but came in to post this.

After game 4, all the Warriors were piling on LeBron, calling him a *****, questioning his manhood, making fun of him for having 'hurt feelings', and all that.

He responded by absolutely destroying them the next two games. They poked the bear and woke him up, and paid the price.

I'm gonna bring this back to the Patriots. I think we should all appreciate how tight Belichick has his team locked down. They would never stand up at the podium and say that the best player on the other team had his feelings hurt. They would just say really nice things about him and how he was one of the best players ever, and leave it at that.

It's amazing how Belichick figured out just how much of a role the mental game plays, and how professional athletes will use whatever you give them to get to the next level. He's really the only coach in pro sports that I know of who will shut that down. It's another testament to why he is the greatest.

I think the Warriors win Sunday, but they are making it a lot harder than it should be.

By the way, really excited for an NBA Finals Game 7 immediately followed by what could be an incredible Game of Thrones episodes. Doesn't get too much better (at least not during the NFL offseason).

I had a bad feeling after the Warriors and their fans started crapping on LeBron... Just so stupid. NEVER give a man motivation. He was ready to give up.

That being said, still plenty of time for him to choke lol

I rest my case....from10 days ago........

This is why I secretly use your analysis to beat my bookmaker into submission. ;)

Not like they were wrong though. He purposely baited Green knowing he had 4 Flagrant points and they probably couldn't beat them without some sort of spark.

Lebron is still the best player in the world. He has been so impressive these last two games. I hope he has one more amazing game in him because the cavs are gonna need it for them to win game 7. I still have the warriors winning though.

And he deserves it, many other stars have faced far more criticism for less. Meanwhile, Klay is really proving himself this post season (though not as much as in the finals but this quarter anyways!).
He definitely deserves it. Outside of two games, he's been completely underwhelming. If I'm going to pile on LeBron for such performances, I will pile on Steph as well. He and Thompson are going to have to have big games on Sunday and they'll actually have to play something resembling defense or the Cavs are your NBA champions.

Ayesha Curry tweeted that the game is rigged either for ratings or money. Then she deleted it. The officiating was pretty bad as a whole, but the last call on Curry after the steal was borderline criminal. Still can't blame it fully on the refs, though. They played like absolute ****.

Yeah that was pretty bad, I thought the steal was a foul but definitely not Curry's sixth foul or the Klay offensive foul.

I don't know about that because previously Green had never been punished for anything up to that point. There was little reason to believe he was going to be punished now after what he did vs OKC (did suspension worthy things in games 3-7). LeBron's performance last night proved he could have had a big night Monday even with Green in the lineup.

Lebron with 41-8-11-4-3, oh yeah 1 turnover in 43 minutes. As Bill Simmons put it, he was channeling Larry and Magic simultaneously. Two absurdly, historically great performances in back to back elimination games. His all-court dominance has truly been a treat to watch. Reminds me of when Hakeem (the real MVP) made David Robinson (the media's choice for MVP) his b*tch in the '95 playoffs.

Game 7 will be wild, this will have huge implications in the all time rankings for Steph and LeBron. Steph better be up for it because LeBron will.

The steal wasn't a foul either. That was about as clean as it gets. Steph's first 3 fouls were all legit, though. So yeah, he got screwed but he also put himself in that position. I hope this lights a fire under his ass for Game 7.

I expect them both to show up in a big way, and Kyrie and Klay. Can JR and Thompson play as well on the road? Will Draymond and Livingston play as poorly at home? Both seem unlikely. Warriors still have the edge, and add to that the home court officiating they will be getting, may be too much for Lebron, as great as he is.

For both teams sake, hope it's nothing like game 7 2010 fourth quarter, what a ****ing joke. Let's see a clean game here and no dramatic change of rules in the final quarter.

With these last two games Lebron has proven he is not finished and could end up being a top five player

He would never be lower than 5th all time in any ranking if he leads Kyrie Irving and a bunch of scrubs to a title over a historically great team, giving him more titles than Wilt, and as many as Larry. By the time he retires his cumulative numbers will be absurd, likely top 3 in points and top 10 in assists.

i think both were called by the same ref. those two were not good ref calls but i think the cavs was taking the game anyway.

No.

Cavs won 57 games and were 12-2 going into the Finals.

You make it sound like that besides LeBron they are a bunch of AAU kids scrapping for everything.

I'd argue that player for player the Cavs are a more talented bunch than GS.

If Curry is 100% and Green plays G5 this series would have been over.

LeBron has hope so he is playing hard.

We all know a hopeless or frustrated LeBron goes through the motions.
