What about them shooting 37 percent for the game? That pitiful start didn't help

I didn't get home and flick over to the game until into the 2nd quarter. From my viewing experience, much like the mist recent celts/Lakers game 6 finals which la won in 7, refs managed to kill any momentum of a game 6 finale. That 6th on curry was absurd. From what I saw, 2 of his first 4 were equally absurd with the contact LeChosen was getting away repeatedly on him.

Cleveland has been getting away with murder on both ends while, [edit: warriors have] not been able to play defense the last 2 or 3 games. Some series. I am remembering why I don't care for the nba since that celts Lakers game 6.

Gotta disagree on this one. Theres something magical about being undefeated and i don't think anything can be worse than losing that magic in literally the last 30 seconds of a season

No way. Stuff can happen in one game. Warriors won the most games in a season and where leading the series 3-1. This will be worse imo. Two games at home as well and they fail?

Well there's no doubt that an undefeated season would've been more special than what the Warriors may or may not accomplish. And it was devastating to see 19-0 vanish. Still pains me,

But in regards to sealing the deal - I think losing in 7 tries is much worse than 1 game where some flukey crap happens. In a 7 game series, hell even 3 or 5 - the Pats beat out the Giants.

Plz don't bring that painful experience. That was so fixed. I will keep my eyes on the officials for game 7 after that fiasco.

It's really splitting hairs, tbh they're probably both equally devastating just in different ways. You can make a case either way but i think history will remember 18-1 more simply because the SuperBowl is the biggest event in all of sports by a mile

Just got home from work, anyone have a quick summary? How's the Cavs big 3 playing?

Love shouldn't even be counted as part of the big three anymore. He looks lost out there in so many ways. Only played 11 minutes tonight.

I just didn't see any blatant one-sided performance by refs tonight. Maybe I'm wrong but I dont think you will see any articles calling out the refs outside golden state

"King James." Small market hero...of course nobody will write about it. Say the "king" chokes again. Can SA afford him? No state income tax in Texas IIRC. Who competes with SA then? Or hell, if Durant stays in okc and lebron lands there? How many smart people want lebron in the Ohio cesspool, calling the shots, relying on love, Kyrie, and pawns for coaches, just thinking it gives them a chance?

This multimedia darling is a big Ole ***** when the story doesn't go to script. He mauled curry a few times tonight, 4 points for Cleveland on the fast breaks resulting. Both times he put curry to the floor on 3 pointers, curry called for a switch on the wing, and that same guy for Cleveland broke for an alley-oop or however the hell it's spelled.

The warriors have shot 38 percent when you combine game 5 and game 6. That's pitiful. They better shoot lights out in game 7. They have been awful defensively as well.

Meanwhile those ticky tack 2 on curry early...he didn't body a 3 pint shooter to the floor...

Thompson gets no called on something Paul pierce made his living on....jumping into an over committed defender, at least twice I saw, from 3 late not long before the horse **** 6th on curry. The fact the refs tossed him on a "T," should tell all you morons what you need to know. Ya just can't have the martyr on the bench to rally the troops. Too dangerous, good thing he reacted and yucked it up with fans as he got escorted from the court. No cameras on the issue.

Those early horse **** fouls played a big role. How many times was curry singled up on the nba's current figure head in foul trouble? With 3 in the 2ND quarter, or 5 in the 4th?

Curry, specifically, was boned hard tonight. Don't call obvious fouls against the jump shooter while calling him for ticky tack contact early. **** the nba. I'd wager that la was guaranteed a top 3 pick this year with kobe retiring and the pick being top 3 protected....shocker...2 player draft and they get the 2nd. 76ers are a mess and they'll end up like portland, taking this year's Oden at number 1.

Compare defensive contact and calls in games 5 and 6. Warriors are being mugged on the offensive end and whistled into subservience on defense. No secret there.

So no team has come back from a 3-1 or 3-0 deficit in nba finals history?

I think that any talk of James leaving Cleveland is crazy. He's not likely to leave again in my opinion. Why would he? He gets max money and max control where he's at, and what makes people feel that losing in the late games (6 last year, 7 this year--unless they pull off the upset) of the finals in 2 consecutive years is such a back breaker that he's somehow unhappy and looking for something different?

He's getting everything he wants right now. He's back to carrying the city on his shoulders. His wife is happy to be "home" again. He's controlling both the coaching and personnel decisions, and most importantly--he's making great money on these year to year max deals. He's proven that he can take the worst franchise in the NBA and bring them back to the finals again, for the second time. I think he's loving his situation, to be honest.

Nope. 0-32 all time.

Cleveland is actually the first team to even force a game 7 after being down 3-1 in FIFTY years (1966), and only the third team ever to do it out of those 32 (now 33) situations.

I don't know woolster. The warriors need to toughen up.

Oh man. The warriors could be on the record books for the wrong reasons lol. They better not lose. It would be so ironic for them to blow a 3-1 series lead after coming back from one. What a disaster.

Worst team? He walked into a budding Kyrie, shipped Wiggins off for the nba version of clay buccholz, and has whined his way into a game 7.

Contract money, yes. Wife, I have no clue. I'm sure he could manage some more marketing money, plus save on state taxes elsewhere. That said I honestly have no clue. I'm sure his sneaker and whatever nationwide deals dwarf any guaranteed nba contract terms.

What I'm getting at is if the dude wants to win. He clearly can't by himself, and he can't without Kyrie being given ref guaranteed lanes to the hoop. Hell, that over the back on iggy eas because ledouche was pushing him over shumpert...another **** call

Everything change with tbe suspension. I am just dissapointed with the warriors play in this game. I thought they would play with a chip on their shoulder and they came out flat.

Well by "worst team," I'm referring to the fact that they statistically had the worst record after he left. They outright sucked.

I'm just giving my opinion that I think a lot of the "Lebron is leaving" chatter will amount to the same as last season--which is absolutely nothing. He made it fairly clear last summer that the only reason he didn't sign a long term pact is because he finds it more financially beneficial going year to year.

You may be correct in the long term, @woolster22. I'm just stating my opinion, that's all.

So your saying jump shooters should just get used to being run through, while airborne, a 6 11 280 pound man? Meanwhile, if they graze an elbow on defense...foul. got it. They need to toughen up.

What happened to a planted shooter being granted the space he jumps into? Someone call Paul Pierce, Thompson got ****ed on that no call the announcers **** slobbered all over the Cleveland nobody for being a great defender and running into rather than jumping into. Somehow that means it isn't a foul on a 3 pt play.

But yeah, if Thompson was tougher, he gets that call
