OT: Rex Ryan says the Bills won the offseason

Rex says he successfully defended his title and is now an 8-time offseason champion.

"I can't wait to get the season started," Ryan said. "I'm just telling you right now: forget the vacation. I wish it was shorter. And I mean it. I'm excited about this team. Obviously a lot of things have to happen and we're a month or so away. I told our players today to 'Win July.' We've won the off-season. I would challenge any team. I think we've won the off-season. But we need to win July. That's when everybody is by themselves, on their own but doing the things to be in great shape when we get to camp, let's avoid those injuries we had last year.

He's now going for the double, says he wants to win July as well. If they can do that they are all set, their work will be done for the year and goals accomplished.

He's feeling the pressure. If he doesn't have a respectable showing this year then he's gone, probably forever as a HC.

Kinda of funny to see Ed Reed having to answer questions about what team his kid likes. I bet Sexy didn't like that too much. Sad to see a great like Reed stuck in a hole like Buffalo however.

"Fine" can have a wide range of meanings. In my house, "fine" can mean anything from "no sex for a month" to "there is sufficient cause to hold a life long grudge".

I'll miss Rex when he's out of coaching after this season. He really shouldn't have jumped straight to the Bills but instead taken some time like BB did to learn from his mistakes, build up another solid defense and find the right next job.

He had to take the job before everyone figured out he is a fraud and his defenses are overrated because of yardage stats while they are below average in points allowed and takeaways, which his jets teams were pretty much the worst in NFL history at his last 3 years there.

Rob was exposed and can't even get a coordinators job. Rex needs to collect before everyone realizes he sucks.
