You have to keep in mind the role he's playing, I don't think Love is as bad as he looks. He isn't great and can't be the best player on a title team but, he could be a nice piece at the right price. His passing and shooting in a Brad Stevens offense would be something..Kevin Love is slower than **** coming out of a turtle's ass ...
Not sure WTF Ainge sees in him ... Brad Stevens wants fast quick 1 way players ... Love is a tank.
The '94 Bulls were a lot better than the '95 Bulls (largely, if not entirely, because they lost and failed to competently replace Horace Grant). Jordan had Pippen, and the rest of the pieces worked because those two were so great together. Grant, Rodman, Kukoc, Cartwright, Paxson, Kerr, Armstrong...on its face the argument that any of the filler on the Bulls' rosters were somehow vastly superior talent-wise to what Lebron has had just isn't true. It seems like this might be a little bit of remembering Jordan's teammates as better than they were because they won 6 titles together (or 3 and 3 really, besides Pippen). Nobody thinks BJ Armstrong is a "great" player, he was however great in his role, and I think people might remember Delonte West, Daniel Gibson, or Larry Hughes as being great in that same way had one of those early CLE teams won a title.Jordan was a great player, there's no denying it - but he had great teammates too. When Jordan left the Bulls, they won 50 games and went to the conference semi-finals both season (with Jordan joining late in the 2nd year).
I am no LeBron fan, but when he left the Cavs, they went from 61 wins to 19. They became one of the worst teams in the league. He has never had the talent around him that Jordan had, even when he was in Miami.
Stevens does not like defensive liabilities and he already has one in Thomas. You have to keep in mind the role he's playing, I don't think Love is as bad as he looks. You have got to be kidding me. Those "quality guys" went from 61 wins to 19 when LeBron left.Lebron's teams in CLE, in MIA, and in CLE again have been stocked with quality players both in the starting 5 as well as down the roster with guys taking smaller contracts to play with the guy.
I hope ET sticks around, I think he's a very similar player to Livingston who is a valuable piece for GS (I actually think ET is better).
I think IT is an underrated defender for the record, he moves his feet very well and gives 110% every play. He never gets posted up so his size isn't that big of a deal.Stevens does not like defensive liabilities and he already has one in Thomas.
IDK I just don't see it ...
I'd rather see them use the pick on Jaylen Brown who they are in love with if they use it.
Or my choice Jamal Murray.
I'd very much disagree, ET is super clutch. His problem is he's the second best ISO player on the team. Livingston wouldn't be nearly as good if he were the no.2 option vs like 5 or 6. ET if he can get a 33-35% 3 pt shot is a damn good player with his much improved defense.et sucks lol
He has good games here and there but sucks in big moments or against superior teams. Livingston is the opposite
