First page is full of win.:D

If he's healthy and motivated he definitely can play. I saw Alan Branch turn from a slug into a demon, so I to want to believe too [as of about 30 seconds ago].

Is he catching the ball cleanly or is he double catching everything still? That's what I want to know.

Eh, pretty sure we've heard the same for the last two offseasons. I don't see any reason why this should move the needle on expectations for him in 2016.

Poor quality recording, but there are some real positives (and some negatives) here:

Not to totally diminish/dismiss your point (AKA I apologize in advance because I'm kinda trying to do that), but I think the biggest takeaway is that these highlights are from 2013. They're from 2013 by necessity, because he's done virtually nothing on the field since then.

I read it as he tore something. Glad it was the good kind of tore. LOL
Me too.

I saw, "tore," and I wasn't surprised. But then I saw, "up mini-camp"......... and I still wasn't surprised.

No, I'm with you there. That was the last time we saw him healthy, though. He had some sharp routes (and some sloppy ones), and honestly he showed that he can play in this league. If he stays healthy, unlike the previous two seasons, then I still believe he can be a contributing member of this offense. We'll see.

I've seen this movie before. Call me when he tears it up on the field... in pads... on Sundays in fall... against opposing teams.

... consistently...
I'd take inconsistently at this point. That's still production on the field, which is more than he's had in the past 2 years.

This is the year. No doubt. Guaranteed.

It will be this...

all year long.

Good for him - Heard that Tom Brady ran over and gave a huge high five in the end-zone the other day. He is still going doing with an injury at some point, so not sure this matters.

Very talented but just can't stay healthy. He has all the tools though. This is his last chance so he better put up or be gone.

Hope it was a soft high five ... don't want to see a wrist injury for Dobson.

Always thought very little of Dobson. Got some **** when I gave'm a 6th Round Grade back in the day.

Can't believe he's still alive, after all these Years, much less on the Roster. o_O

Yet you gave Keenan Allen a first round grade.

What did the patriots see in Dobson that they didn't see in Keenan Allen?

Let me start off by saying Thank You for the Keenan Allen Reference!!

I've had plenty of Misses you could choose from, yet you graciously chose to reference what at this Hour is looking like an Hit. You are a Gentleman, Sir!!

To answer your Question: My best guess ~ I can't claim definitive Knowledge, as Mad Bill still inexplicably persists in ignoring my Phone Calls :D~ is that Dobson's intoxicating Fusion of Height and Speed understandably seduced our Draft Team: He stands 6026 and ran a blistering 4.37 40 Yard Dash at his Pro Day in 2013. Those are the numbers of a guy who should go Top Ten.

Unfortunately, his Core Power and thus his Functional Strength don't seem to be on par with his Frame, his Route Running was awful at Marshall, and his Agility ~ his Fluidity and his Ricochet ~ are mediocre, as his Short Shuttle and 3 Cone Times confirmed: He can't change directions very smoothly or quickly.

Consequently, I deduced that he was a tall guy who could run fast in a straight line and not much else.

Ironically, the only other Positive that I saw was where I gave'm an high grade for what I've come to refer to as Catch Point Capacity. That of course has not manifested itself, while, unfortunately, the elements of his Skill Set that I was not high on have manifested themselves all too prominently.

He seemed a strange Fit on this Team, which emphasizes Route Running & Agility over Height & Speed.

Having said all that: please do consider me among those hoping for the very best for the kid....especially while he's on our Team. My 6th Round Grade was just an assessment of what I thought his Prospects were worth at the time. He does have Potential, and I'd be the last one to close the door on'is Story.
