Patriots Minicamp Thread

IDK how other people feel but seeing as the lack of football news here is pretty obvious I am all for having a new thread each day for each mini camp news cycle. It would let it be monitored easier at the least.

If people want to just keep it all here i can change the thread name and remove the date though.

Agreed. That would be pretty sad. Hoping Foster shows a lot or White somehow is able to become a competent runner in order to knock him off the team. Either that, or a halfway decent back springs loose after the first round of cuts to make Brown expendable.

I'm hoping for a good summer trade but would be OK with Foster.

Fair enough. I think i made it clear how highly i thought of Jonathan Jones. I was willing to draft him in the 4th. I think i had him on the best player left on my board from the 5th round on. I am so excited we got him as an UDFA and think looking back he will be one of the best players we got this year. People hate on him for his height but i keep saying look at the tape. The kid can play and that is what matters. He does not have the tools to take away someone like Jordy Nelson or Julius Jones but very few guys do. Keep him on guys 6'1 or under and he will be great.

Not surprised by that. Stork is supposed to be a mega *******. My girlfriend knew his fiancée in college. Supposedly they got into a fight and he kicked her dog. He also grew up one county north of where I did and I hear a lot of interesting things about him from people who went to Vero.

Which Jones?

CB is going to be a fun position to watch this year. Besides the 3 locks (Butler, Ryan, Cryus Jones) they have Coleman, Jonathan Jones & Darryl Roberts. If Roberts build on last year and is healthy he will be hard to let go. Jonathan Jones I think is going to continue to show up and Coleman showed well last year filling in okay as the #3. I don't think they can keep all 6 and this assumes no one else shows up to challenge.

Honestly if Jones, Coleman and Roberts all do well I might be tempted to see what Ryan's market is.

I'm telling you guys. Watch out for Dobson. With his height and speed, he has the most upside of any patriots WR if he can stay healthy

I would assume Jonathan Jones as he had a pick and pass defended today and i don't think Cyrus had either today.
