Okay, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he only caught 14 balls. We'll give him one regular grab. ;)

I thought it was funny, really funny. 7 double catches plus 1 regular grab equals 15. 7 * 2 + 1 = 15. I guess Joker made you a bit nervous on that crossing route reply and you double counted!

I took it upon myself to rewrite history and just had one clang right off his chest. :)

Dobson........dude is awesome

problem is that he's going to wind up in suckland sometime in august

This is exciting.

In 11 vs 11, the QBs completed 40 of 54 passes (74%). I guess because you can't really get contact or pressure the QB or hit receivers, it's gonna drive up completion percentages, but man.

I guess it begs the question of the value of those QB numbers in OTAs.

Foster getting more receptions than White is a little noteworthy. Let's see if this is something that develops into a trend.

I see Foster/White/Brown as the 3 RBs in heated competition. As much as I want Foster to stick, the fact that Brown can run in-between he tackles decently really makes things difficult for Foster. Not sure if Fosters frame is suited to be that 'dual threat' RB.

If Lewis is on PUP to start the season it could give Foster a little more time to stick.

**Crazy but could possibly happen: Brown actually replaces Blount and Foster replaces White**

Also, most secondaries look pretty good against offenses missing their top three weapons (Gronk, Edelman, Amendola).

Though his Receiving numbers leaves a lot to be desired I think Donald Brown might be a better than regarded pass catcher. Brown's last two Teams were predominantly passing Teams ie...Colts and Chargers who had better Receiving options than Brown. We know he can run Between the Tackles something James White stink at period and Brown has a decent build to take a little pounding. Brown might be a under the radar signing who excells here...I think he's already better than Blount! P.s. cannot wait to see what D.J. Foster shows. Minus Dion Lewis who was a pleasant surprise last year this Patriot RB dept chart is pretty pathetic a mix of washed up and unknowns..

We don't know how serious Blount's hip injury was, but we do know the Pats took their time before re-signing him.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Blount get cut.

I have also read, however, that there were a few interceptions and pass breakups among the backend, so of course the grain of salt is needed on both ends.

Uuuuggghhhhh

I hate the idea of Donald Brown making this team.

Agreed. That would be pretty sad. Hoping Foster shows a lot or White somehow is able to become a competent runner in order to knock him off the team. Either that, or a halfway decent back springs loose after the first round of cuts to make Brown expendable.

Well based on the last two responses I rest my case concerning our RB Dept chart.:D

Hmm, seems like a little contradiction. Someone is not paying attention!

Patriots practice leftover: Last 2 players to leave the field, well after the rest of their teammates, were WRs Chris Harper & Devin Lucien.

Lucien injured his right foot and didn't return late in practice.

@MarkDanielsPJ
Along with his interception, Jonathan Jones also deflected a pass. He had a deflection yesterday as well. Undrafted CB is playing well
