Hold the phone. You're telling me Dobson made EIGHT catches today? And he's not permanently injured?

He's just lucky he has to catch with his hands and not his ankles...

He's got some wikkid bruises on his hands though...

Once again certain patriots fans from this site pumping up Chris Harper while laying into Aaron Dobson. Things never change. People seem to forget the most memorable thing Chris Harper ever did for this franchise was fumble a punt up 21-7 with 9 minutes left in the most important game of the season, which arguably changed the momentum of the game and cost us homefield advantage and a super bowl trip.

Troy Brown and Julian Edelman took 4-5 years before making an impact as an NFL WR. Let's give Dobson a chance, it's year 4. Probably the last chance he's going to get but let's see if this year he can finally break out. Maybe he's a late bloomer
Maybe he's not.

It's nice to see Jimmy with high % numbers considering he throws the ball at deeper parts of the field more frequently than Brady.

Dobson's had his chance. The team's moving on. That's why they actually paid out a small amount of money for WRs this year, rather than just staying at the very bottom of the bargain basement bin.

What if Dobson is healthy and ready to make good on all that potential besides being mr Glass he has trump hands other then that he has all the tools you look for.
Wish you could put Jules toughness and grit in Dobsons body

What?

Can't stay on the field
Can't hold on to the ball
Is an iffy route runner, who has a tendency to quit on the route

Other than that, though, he's been the bee's knees.

I'm not going to disagree but I think it's fair to say many on this board saw potential in Edelman so it was not much of a surprise to see him develop into the player he is today. Brown did develop slowly and had fumble problems early but Dobson doesn't feel like either guy to me. He just doesn't seem to be in the right place consistently and the drops have been brutal. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see how a guy can fix problems like that at this point in his career.

If he is 100% healthy and looking something like AJ Green you find a way to keep him. Put an extra OL man on the PS or carry 1 less safety but you keep him and let it work itself out. Don't ever tell me you can't find a roster spot for a player tearing it up leading up to the season opener.

Then we take the opportunity to recover a draft pick and trade him.

Once the pads come on every practice better be like it was today to have a chance to make the team.

And he'd better show so much toughness that we start lamenting why can't Edelman be tough like Dobson.

you're not funny, Supa...just sayin'...

Okay, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he only caught 14 balls. We'll give him one regular grab. ;)

I certainly agree with you that he'll be given the opportunity to make the team, and that he may surprise us and beat out some of the other competition, but I couldn't imagine any scenario where another team would give us a draft pick for Aaron Dobson.

I thought it was pretty clearly stated as in Samuel in Pulp Fiction once said English MotherF@cker do you speak it?

"Yo soy fiesta!"

If he is 100% healthy and looking something like AJ Green you find a way to keep him.

Someone get this message to Chad O'Shea, asap. ;)

everybody's an all pro in shorts and shells...
