Running Backs on the Bubble

No they're not. Hell, Daniel Thomas was on the Patriots practice squad once, and the Patriots didn't want Helu last year. These guys are no better than Bolden, and none of them are special teamers.

The running back crop in this past draft was pretty horrible too after Elliot and arguably Henry.

Bill didn't draft someone, so therefore that someone must be bad.

Got it.

Well, that's better than your typical argument of "Because I said it and Belichick didn't do it, Belichick F**KED up again"..

Since we strangely didn't draft a RB in this draft, I wouldn't mind trading for one.

I love Vikings' Jerick McKinnon. He will never be used by being behind AP, but the guy is a beast. 3rd season, we can get him for cheap, play him with the comitee this year, extend him next year and watch him explode, making Lewis and McKinnon the best backfield in the NFL, behind the GOAT QB. Man... Wait, why do I have an erection right now?

I'd love that too however I doubt it would happen - he's insane value for the Vikings and they're giving him more carries as time goes on. I assume he'll be their feature back when AP is done.

Yeah, the better argument is "everybody not on our team is better than everyone on our team" which seems to be the topic of this thread.

As for the rookies, they weren't all that good. Booker is slow, played in the WAC, is already older than Dion Lewis, and is coming off a knee injury. Howard is an Indiana running back. Just like Wisconsin running backs, you should never draft an Indiana running back. They might work out, you never know, but as prospects both guys are just dime a dozen.

No, thank you, on any of them. The draft was the time to get a RB. That time has come and passed. Let's hope the decision to not draft one doesn't come back to bite the team this season.

I agree for the most part but feel like they may still have a shot at adding a decent RB this summer. They have the cap room and some talent they could move. Its somewhat of a long shot but, still a possibility imo.

Moreno or Foster or hell why not both?
the current interest level around the league should be an indicator as to what their ability level is right now

In going to hold out hope for Jamal Charles.

Foster's visited with a few teams. He hasn't signed anywhere yet because of concerns about passing a physical, not because teams don't want him if he's good to go for camp. He'll sign somewhere next month for certain.

can we stop the "none are better than Bolden" stuff...Bolden sucks as a RB....someone had to say it.

Kniles would be interesting. He is a great returner can catch the ball and is a threat to break it long.

but none are really better than Bolden, and at the very least they arent likely to beat out BB because of his St contributions. These guys wouldn't be cut if they were very good
