Hope it's okay to post this on a slow Patriots week.

The Penguins are very dominating ... I have no favorite and it is hard to see the sharks pulling this off. Watching any sports contest where you don't care who wins is very enjoyable IMO.

In spite of the dominance ... it's a real good game tonight.

As a big hockey fan and former player I wish they would show the overhead shot more often.
For the casual hockey fan it's an amazing view of the unison with which the teams move about.
They would learn the game quickly if that view was shown more often.

Sharks need to convert on this PP

Dislike both teams but am cheering for the Sharks since they've never won it and one of my most hated players is on the Penguins. San Jose is playing like they are just happy to be there. Pretty underwhelming Final so far.

You think so? Somebody had to be up 2-1 after 3, which is better than 3-0. 2 overtime games. 3 1 goal games. Why underwhelming to you?

I agree ... both teams fighting hard and it is a decent series.

Mostly the way the Sharks have been playing. They don't look anything like the team they were in the first three rounds.

Somebody has to win so I'll root for Joe Thronton and against Phil Kessel.

Who else saw Crosby get proverbially stuffed in the locker?

LETS GO SHARKS GOAL! I WANNA SEE THORTON SCORE

Didn't see it. Always wondered what your avatar was. Finished boardwalk empire about two months ago and now I know

What a travesty that final season was. HBO really screwed the pooch on that one. Hurried what was a good thing. Best season, by far, was season 3. Gyp Rosetti was the man.

Pitt is going to win. Kessel is going to have been a major reason. Boston is going to have crap to show for that trade, when it once had

Seguin (top flight scorer)
Hamilton (first/second line defenseman)

to show for it. Then, to top that off, they shipped out Boychuk (first/second line defenseman) for a pair of second round picks. Biggest Bruins' current needs, and reason they've missed the playoffs for two consecutive seasons?

Top flight scorer
First/second line defensemen.

BRB, going to have to go find some kittens to kick...

So this year's NBA and Stanley Cup Finals have been complete wastes of time.

Deus, what do u think Sweeney will do this yr to screw up the Bruins more for this coming season? Might as well trade Bergeron and Marchand for a couple of 6th round picks. Cant do anymore harm, right?

The Bruins are going nowhere with their current coach and probably president. lol the Seguin trade should have cost literally everyone their jobs.

I'm wondering why it's taken Game 3 of the series to be on broadcast TV (NBC). The last 2 games were on NBCSN. This is actually a good battle all things considered.

The real ***** of it is that I like a lot of what he's said, but his attempts to translate his words to his actions have fallen into either of two groups:

Too soon to tell (i.e. Colin Miller in trade, draft picks)
Freakin' awful (i.e. handling of Eriksson situation, acquisitions like Hayes, re-signing Kevin Miller for too much money and too many years, not forcing Julien to give more, and more consistent, PT time to young players who are more offensive minded (and less defensive minded) than he would prefer at their positions)

I realize that he came into a bad cap situation, but I can no longer grant him that excuse after the money he's spent on his bottom line defensemen.

As for screwing things up, let's wait until we see the Krug numbers and what happens with Eriksson. Those two things might be enough to trigger another Boston Tea Party.

He was, and I agree that the conclusion felt rushed.

He plays a good role on "Vinyl," too, if you haven't checked it out already, which I assume you probably have.
