out of curiosity, how much would you pay for a suit? 3500 seems ridiculous.

If you are careful with it, a custom made suit will last a lifetime, fit like a glove, and feel just fantastic. They are actually worth the money, if you wear a suits a lot, because they will far outlast a rack suit. It is one of those "the rich get richer" things.

So you're a recognizable millionaire athlete?

Despite many folks being recognizable millionaire athletes, they as well manage to stay out of trouble and avoid getting shot...

I usually get suits that are $800-$1000 but they last 10 years. I would rather pay that then have to pay $300 every few years for a new one.

Well to be fair, you probably didn't show up in a limo, buy out the VIP area and order $200+ bottles of Crystal all night drawing attention to yourself as a famous athlete that just won the Superbowl

Some of these athletes just want to go out and have a good time, they don't want any trouble.. but sometimes trouble finds them, especially given the egos involved.. sine I'm sure another group of jealous guys were upset that Talib and his crew were taking all the nice looking ladies and having a grand old time in the VIP lounge, the jealous group talked a bunch of trash and then Talib and his group responded in kind.. then tempers flared and gangstas gonna be gangstas at the end of the day..

Words turn into shooting bullets at each other.. idiots.

P.s. I'm speculating as to what happened, I obviously wasn't there and haven't read much into it, but I'm guessing my scenario above could be applied to 90% of these types of incidents

I used to promote in DC, so yes, we had the tables with lots of girls and expensive alcohol.

@Elijah and what exactly did you dislike about my post? You don't consider Talib to be a thug?

We might want to consider the past of some of our guys before we gloat on this one...

Yep. Any time I start to knock a team for scumbag players I end up wiping it clean because we have The Murderer.

He is the ultimate as a football player-criminal, that we are aware of, yes.
But the Pats took care of business immediately. Other teams have had players with lesser infractions that they defended and kept around.
So we are talking about two types of measurements: the infractions, and the team's support of the behavior.

At least when I got shot, I didn't walk with a limp...

Subtitles are always appreciated.

Will not miss any time. Donks get lucky yet again.

I like the guy ... so I'll just say I hope he is okay and I hope this hurts the Broncos.
He needs to plaster this picture wherever ... 3 kids ... wise up dude.

Aqib Talib (leg) told Dallas Police he was "too intoxicated" to remember what happened when he was shot on Sunday morning.
Talib claims he was shot in a park, though other reports have indicated the shooting occurred at a strip club. A bullet entered and exited Talib's right leg, requiring stitches. The Broncos are looking into whether Talib may have accidentally shot himself.

That's par for the course in most places south of the Mason-Dixon.
