Another guy that's going to go broke after football.

Only if he isn't shot and killed first. Next time may not be just a flesh wound in the leg.

At least he'll have a fresh new pair of J's to rock with that $3500 suit.

I don't get it, I used to go to nightclubs every weekend. I've managed to never, get into an actual fight, get shot, or get arrested. It's really not that difficult.

Well to be fair, you probably didn't show up in a limo, buy out the VIP area and order $200+ bottles of Crystal all night drawing attention to yourself as a famous athlete that just won the Superbowl

Some of these athletes just want to go out and have a good time, they don't want any trouble.. but sometimes trouble finds them, especially given the egos involved.. sine I'm sure another group of jealous guys were upset that Talib and his crew were taking all the nice looking ladies and having a grand old time in the VIP lounge, the jealous group talked a bunch of trash and then Talib and his group responded in kind.. then tempers flared and gangstas gonna be gangstas at the end of the day..

Words turn into shooting bullets at each other.. idiots.

P.s. I'm speculating as to what happened, I obviously wasn't there and haven't read much into it, but I'm guessing my scenario above could be applied to 90% of these types of incidents

The Bronco Way.

Lets...lets no go down that road when one of our former players killed one person for sure and likely killed two others and is currently serving a life sentence.

Screw that ScumBag.

I don't resent his Tenure here or his Departure, though I certainly would've Tagged & Traded'm rather'n retain'm: He was simply too fragile and too fickle, and he made that clear before he left.

But his disgusting attempt to cripple Philly Brown in the Super Bowl obliterated any concern I have for'm.

Philly Brown himself was inexplicably cool about it, but that doesn't change the fact that Talib ~ as he readily admitted, afterward ~ knew that he had a virtual Free Pass to Make Mayhem, and put all his contemptible "might" into trying to pop a vertebrae or three when he tackled Brown.

Philly Brown was lucky to walk off the Field.

I wish Talib every possible Calamity.

What part of "former" are you struggling with?? o_O

If anything, our Defenestration of Hernandez loudly, emphatically, and dramatically reinforced our Intolerance of ScumBaggery. How is it possible that that escapes you??

But feel free to hang your head in Shame.

In your case, it is clearly warranted.

I hope it's not a serious injury.

I never liked the guy when he played for the Pats. I thought he was a thug on the field, but he was "our thug" and so I looked the other way when I probably shouldn't have done so.

I also haven't liked some of the stuff he's said after he left the team and I didn't like the hit on Welker...but I think he was probably just as dirty when he played for our guys...so, if you lie down with mangy dogs, you get up with fleas, I guess.

welker hit talib, not the other way around:

Talib is an angel compared to Ray Lewis and he got a statue.

So you're a recognizable millionaire athlete?

out of curiosity, how much would you pay for a suit? 3500 seems ridiculous.

you're right. i was wrong. Talib was still a nasty player, but in this case the blame belongs elsewhere.

Is it true he pistol whipped someone?

If so, im expecting a suspension, cuz you know #integrity.

No, because it's "more likely than not" that he learned how to pistol whip while a member of the Patriots and...well...you know...that's a first rounder at least...

There are some rumors that he went full Plaxico and shot himself accidentally. Just rumors for now (from random Twitter accounts).

I am praying to the comedy gods that they are true (especially given that he's OK and it probably means he'll be suspended longer).

If he had tried to shoot the other two victim's he's done.
