OTAs? TC? Excited all year?

For me it's OTAs. Players are around the area for a bit. Doing things local ect and just seeing them on the field

Training Camps

Seeing the battles for a Depth Chart position, the surprise player, the rookies. It all screams "Soon it begins" to me

Also, 98 days for the season to start

TC typically. I don't really get as excited as I used to though. Not sure if it's due to Goodell and the off the field stuff or if I'm just grown up and growing out of it now.

This is a tough question because I do enjoy the whole minicamp and TC process now more than I did when I was a teenager. So I'm excited when that's going on. I start to get excited for the season the week leading up to the season-opener. True excitement for the season settles in at that point, as everything before it is just a reminder that the season is approaching. I'm especially excited whenever we make it through camp without any significant injuries.

I am interested all year but get excited during TC and specifically with the first preseason game.

Before the first preseason game is when it really starts to "hit me" that football is almost here. Yes those games don't count, but it looks so much like the real thing, especially the way it's presented in broadcasts, that I guess it deceives me enough to thinking it's real. Or maybe I need psychological help.

The draft, then another wave hits me when TC starts. FA and OTAs are minor fixes.

Putting on a Pats jersey and cracking that first beer on that first meaningless August game.

I should add that once Crazy Train is heard it goes next level.

Follow the team 365 but don't get really excited until start of regular season with the exception of free agency and the draft. Right now it just sucks.

They really need a new song. Hell, even keeping it with Ozzy, "Iron Man" would kick some ass if only for the riff at the beginning.

First regular season game when all the IR'd and PUP players are known and the roster is set to begin the season......by then my binky has usually been injured or cut...LOL

If it's growing up, I'm a slow grower as I've been jacked & pumped early for decades...

EXCEPT for this year. Total loss of enthusiasm. Patsfans is more of a habit than a passion thanks to the NYJFL front office shenanigans.
I hope to take some football viagra and get my ass to camp mainly to see TFB before he's gone. Every year I've been excited about the new draftees, UDFAs & FAs but I can't even name a few this year.
I'm hoping that the always excellent joint practices, this year with the Bears, get my juices flowing.

its been incredibly hard to get pumped for this year, after all the ******** we've had to endure the past two.

Well since the NFL cancels the season after the Patriots either win the Super Bowl or lose and don't make it, I move right into being excited for the next season the moment the Patriots play their last game.

Not until the day of the first game. I couldn't care less about training camps or preseason games.

Although this year it may not be until Brady returns after his suspension.

The draft really gets me amped up with the exception of this year for obvious reasons... but I still had fun boycotting espn and nfl with everyone on this forum real time

Free agency always excites me, even when we don't do anything noteworthy

Then when training camp opens up I love watching all the videos and interviews, and have mini panic attacks every day when they report that someone left practice gimpy

I really enjoy watching preseason just to see the young rookies and 2nd year players develop, and again have panic attacks with injury reports

Then I go full on 4+ hour erection level crazy for opening kickoff of the regular season

Football is a 365 passion for me, although Goodell and the NFL have been doing a good job trying to ruin it for me with all this ******** nonsense
