Vote for who wins the NBA Finals.

Also, post a comment for how many games it will take.

Cavs in 6.

They are healthy and ready this year.

I'm saying Warriors in 6. I know they are sputtering towards the end (as the other thread alludes) but I still think they have enough firepower to seal the deal. Of course, that might be my disdain for Lebron talking (though I do have to give him credit for reaching 6 straight finals).

Cavs in 6, sadly. Too many different ways they can score. LeBron also has the advantage of the whistle. He can probably shoot someone with a pistol on defense and the dead guy he just shot would be called for a foul.

Warriors. I am not a big believer in momentum but at times i think it is real. This is such a case. If the Warriors were able to come back being down 1-3 then they are not going to be losing in the finals.

They are the best team in the NBA when they hit their 3s like usual and i expect that to be the case this series. OKC is a better team than the Cavs IMO and they didn't beat the Warriors or take them out of their game. The Warriors got into a slump where their shots didn't fall like usual. They are passed that now and i don't think it comes again for a stretch like it did.

The Cavs can defend the 3s no better than OKC could cause you don't usually lose cause the other team is so much better at that one shot. The Cavs will.

Warriors in 5. When they are right (and they are right now) they are not beatable consistently.

I see the Warriors offense rolling over the Cavs. Love cannot run with Green, Kyrie cannot bother Curry like Westbrook did, I don't see JR Smith being even a speed bump to Klay Thompson.

Lebron is the big matchup problem, but if you limit turnovers then you go a long way towards containing the Cavs. Westbrook and and Durant caused massive TO problems with their freakish length. I don't see the Cavs as capable of duplicating it.

While the Cavs are healthy this year, they are playing a lot smaller this year and I don't think you beat GS's small ball with your own (lesser) version.

I want GSW but I think the Cavs win in 7. Series should be real close.

I think the Warriors are the better team, period. Imo out will be a home team series and the Warriors win at home in game seven. Cleveland has a ton of talent but the Warriors are better coached and play a better team game. This is going to be a great final and it should do a great deal for basketball going forward. I think this is the best match up since Bird/Johnson.

The media and league will be pulling for the Cavs. They are healthy and MeBron has the refs to help him as pointed out so well by a previous poster. I will be rooting for GS but it's Cleveland's year to win.

GS in 7.

Side Note: What the hell happened in the 2nd regular season game? GS won by 30+ in CLE?

Dubs in 7.

Cavs practically slept walked through the regular season, ignore it.

Rooting for Warriors, don't know **** about basketball.

I'm actually rooting for Cleveland for some reason. I'm not a Lebron fan but I can't stand Dwyane Wade. I'd like to see Lebron win one without Wade so that I can use that as further evidence that Wade won those titles riding Lebron's coattails.

Having said that, I think GS will win in 6. They are too explosive offensively. I don't think Lebron will be as much of a beneficiary of refs calls as others believe. The league and media love themselves some Golden State and will be fine with seeing them win.

That big loss helped Lebron achieve his goal of getting David Blatt fired.

Now he has a coach that doesn't even pretend to coach and just says "Do what Lebron says, guys"

That team was *****ing quite a bit. Irving and Love were both squalking....

In fairness to LeBron, since I have been watching, almost every elite NBA star has gotten their head coach canned.

Star/Coach

Magic/Paul Westhead
Bird/Bill Fitch & Jimmy Rogers
MJ/Stan Albeck & Doug Collins
Barkley/Matt Goukas
Reggie Miller/Larry Brown
Isiah Thomas/Scott Robertson

I'm not convinced Ewing wanted coaches canned or if Pat Riley just became available.
