OT: Golden State Warriors Sputtering Toward the End

The Warriors had an easier road than the Cavs for the first two series. The Rockets are a joke andt he Clippers didn't have both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin ffs.

They didn't play the Clips. Have another Vec! Let the hate flow through you! Hahaha I laugh at thee

Love's gonna have to be a factor otherwise i don't see the cavs winning

He's gonna have a tough time defending. Dray has been struggling, but Love may be just poor enough defensively to cure that.

Pistons and Hawks are better than Rockets and Blazers.

Interesting. How about Thunder and Raptors?

The Pistons have multiple potential Hall of Fame players?

Based God's Curse.

Thunder are better, but Pistons are easily better than the Rockets. I don't know how you could watch the two and come to the conclusion the Rockets are better. This whole West is better at everything storyline is annoying.

Based on their lack of wins? Based on a guy who couldn't start for OKC being their best player?

I agree about story lines. But the Pistons are about as good as the Jazz

Lol definitely not. Pistons put up a hell of a fight vs Cleveland. Bottom of the West was trash. Mavs and Rockets making the playoffs was a joke.

Damn, I was hoping the Warriors would join us on the wrong side of history but even if they lose to the Cavs at this point, it will be viewed as a historic victory for Cleveland sports more so than a record team blowing it like 2007 Pats. Shame

why would anybody worry about how anybody thinks about the 07 pats. they won 4 SBs. that cancels all that sh!t out.

Dallas was a 42 win team in the tougher conference. Calling that a joke, when the #8 team in the East was just a 44 win team in the weaker conference, doesn't really make sense.

I would rather build around the nucleus of the Jazz, with Heyward, Favors, Hood and Stifle Tower, than Reggie Jackson, Drummond and Tobias Harris. Utah had a lot of injuries. Detroit put up a good fight, because nobody on Cleveland matches up with Drummond. They also got swept.

Being close to the Bay Area and been there pretty much all the times I hope the warriors can pull it off.
But also it would be nice to see LeBron finally bringing a title to Cleveland since their football team is total garbage.

Except they're not the same type of player at all, so your entire argument is off basis to begin with.

Jimmy Butler is a 6'7" Small Forward who guards players like LeBron and Carmelo, and does so with great success.

Avery Bradley is a 6'2" Shooting Guard who guards players like Chris Paul and Kyrie Irving, and does so with great success.

So okay, for the sake of argument, let's say they are similar players, even though they play two entirely different positions on the court.

The Celtics have a gigantic glut of young Shooting Guards waiting in the wings, such as Marcus Smart, Terry Rozier, RJ Hunter and James Young.

At Small Forward, the Celtics have the solid and hustle friendly, but mediocre, Jae Crowder and..............nobody else.

So now take a step back and review the situation: trading Bradley in a package for Butler makes a ton of sense considering you have a ton of young SG replacements, especially Marcus Smart, who after another year of seasoning, will essentially BE Bradley, and maybe better. At SF, you have...no one.

You trade Bradley for Butler every single day of the week and you don't think about it for a split second. If you don't see the big picture you have little knowledge of team construction and depth in the NBA.

OK, my level of BasketBall Knowledge is such that I'm not quite sure how much Time is on the 24 Second Shot Clock, and even I could understand this beautifully crafted Argument.

Beautifully put, Sir, beautifully put.

Edit: Wait. Is it 24 Seconds??

Congrats to GS coming from a life long Chicago Bulls fan. Ill admit I had them done being down 3-1, but props to them for pulling off 3 in a row, they for sure deserved and wanted it more.

There is a level of mental toughness that GS has that CLE does not and that is what it takes to win at this time of year.

I don't see Cleveland winning this series. Not after what GS just did.

Couple that with that everybody was gunning for GS this year and giving their best effort vs the champs and they still won 73 games... If GS wins, Lebron will be 2-5 in the finals...
