It was posted here by someone, which I think was a Wallach tweet, that if CA2 asks the NFL to file a response to the NFLPAs petition for re-hearing that it is a sign that the argument is strong and they are considering it seriously.
Does anyone know what kind of timeframes would be expected for both that, and/or an actual ruling on granting the re-hearing?

what difference does it make?

your conclusions are already drawn.......if Brady is denied, you will blame Kraft.......if Brady ultimately wins, you will say it is in spite of Kraft

there's nothing left for you to talk about

Says before the season starts.

According to the World Justice Project, the US in ranked #19. Unsurprisingly, Scandinavian countries topped the list.

Nice share, Galeb. I could've used some of this info for my last 2 school programs (CrimJ), but there may be something useful on sentencing reform that is of value for a current project I'm working on now. Obviously, I'd have to delve into it for a good spell.

One thing I always think of when hearing of Scandinavian countries is this: can we compare the way that these much smaller countries tend to do things? I'm sure they have some type of value rating system that they use to try and justify their findings, but we constantly hear of how these much smaller countries are handling certain situations in a more effective manner. Sometimes that is true, and sometimes it's difficult to compare to our (roughly) 275-300m population.

I like how the Scandinavians handle the skimpy bikini issue....

I think the underlying philosophical differences have a much larger impact than population size. Although the Scandinavian countries excel in many areas of human, rights, happiness and development, they are being corrupted by "Western Culture" at an accelerating pace. Unless something changes, in a couple of generations they won't be much different than other European countries of a similar size.

FWIW, Wallach indicated we'd probably hear something before the end of June. IIRC, he said if CA2 wants an NFL response or is going to deny the rehearing request we'll probably know by mid-ish June ("weeks"). If they order an NFL response then he said we'll probably get the accept/deny decision by the end of June or early July ("June/July").

Those girls better get indoors! They're gonna get a sunburn!

Yeah. They had better get in my house, stat! Have to avoid that sunburn.

The notion that size has anything to do with efficiency is a false premise and one that is continually driven by those resistant to change or improvement, incidentally coming from the same sources that characterize socialist democracies as a "threat" to capitalism (more like a threat to the monstrous wage gap/social inequality).

What happened to the girl on the right end? Is she the token brunette?

Not sure, but she's actually the hottest one of all of them.

I don't think "Western culture"-based influences are what Scandinavia needs to worry about right now
