Replaced my somewhat worn out 3 x 5 flag with a new crisp fresh one today.

Will bring the worn one to my friends at a local legion post for proper disposal next week.

Amen, my brother, Amen. We are some very lucky people in this country. God bless the ones who loved the way we live, enough to die for it. Nowhere on this planet can you live the way we do.

My uncle, God rest his soul, was shot down in Germany while flying a B-17. He survived four months in a prison camp, and when freed, became a VP at Boeing. I drink to him and his service.

Please remember those that gave their lives for the freedoms we experience today, I don't think i can be grateful enough

For those that fought with a flag with only 13 stars on it, for the ones that fought to end slavery, for those who are still fighting for this nation, for those that come back only to be buried, for the families that still have the hope to see their loved ones alive and the families that are crying their loss, my respect, prayers & Thank You! And thank you for allowing us to enjoy the little things in life, like rooting for this awesome team. Have a great weekend Patsfans.com peeps and GO PATRIOTS!!!!!

That photo always gets me

Thank you to all who served and to those in your family who did as well, and hope everyone has a good weekend. Be safe out there. Quiet weekend planned on this end, just plan on enjoying a few days off.

As a veteran I can say we all thank you for your well wishes....however this is not Veterans day....its Memorial day and no one you are saluting is alive to accept the well wishes....

If you have ever been to Omaha Beach, you know.

I understand your point... I thought my first photo was clear... that all those guys served... and now have likely passed. But if not, I apologize.
